Nice hotel in a quiet location.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. No active restaurant but a nice place to sit outside even if you have to go and buy drinks at the reception downstairs.
Ok breakfast and walking distance to downtown and Lake Como.
Parking can be a bit challenging, we were lucky and found a place on the street, but be aware of the parking rules as these are not completely obvious. Northern European cars are also not optimal when parking in Italy.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful boutique hotel. It is a short distance from the railway station. It has been beautifully renovated. Bed linen is beautiful and included a top sheet- very rare in hotels these days. I like to sleep with a cover and a doona is usually too hot.
Included breakfast is very special. We even had coffee made to our choice by the wonderful man at breakfast and a freshly squeezed juice by the lady. We had an early trip one day and were given a breakfast to take and a take away coffee.
When I first booked a room was unavailable for the last night but the hotel waited until one bacame available so we didn't have to change rooms.
All staff were friendly and helpful.
It was a short walk to the Lake. Could not have had a better stay.
Highly recommend.

Fabulous boutique hotel 5 mins from railway station. Beautifully renovated in old building an easy walk to Como Lake.I love that they provide a top sheet, rare these days but you can't sleep under a doona in summer. Sheets and linen are beautiful. You can open a window, nice hot shower.
Breakfast is wonderful, included, with wonderful staff, male so attentive making coffee of your choice and we had a fresh fruit juice made .
We needed an extra night in a twin room and although not available when I booked the staff eventually made it happen.
Stunning stay. Thank you Borgo Antico.

Excellent hotel

In August 2026, I stayed for about ten days with friends at this hotel. I found everything perfect, from the rooms to the cleanliness, from the breakfast to the kindness of the staff. We felt treated like old friends.
A special mention for Ali, a very talented chef!!!!!!
I absolutely recommend it.
