Aggressive bullies in charge! AVOID

Genuinely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m not one to leave reviews- maybe I should do so more for positive things but I feel compelled to warn others about the people that run this ‘hotel’.
We arrived around 2pm to check in and were greeted by 2 ladies who were very helpful and they checked us in with no issue. The room itself was ok- budget room for a budget price so no complaints there.
We went out for the evening and returned around 10pm. We were about to enter the room when an older lady (owners wife) started shouting aggressively at us in Italian. We don’t speak Italian but we went to the desk to find out what the issue was. Through translation we discovered that booking.com had incorrectly sent through that only one guest was staying, not two and that we would need to pay additional money for a second guest. This wouldn’t have been an issue, and would have been resolved with a simple call to the booking site, if the lady didn’t start screaming and swearing at us and telling us to pay.
Her son then arrived who did speak English which we thought would calm the situation. We explained to him that we were happy for them
To contact booking.com with all our details to resolve this- but he kept demanding payment. We gave copies of both passports, so it wasn’t an ID issue. He then got aggressive, screaming at both of us, telling us to shut up and being physically aggressive. Eventually, they let us back into the room, where our things were while they waited for booking.com to call them.
At one point, I did contemplate just paying the additional money purely for our safety, but after 90 mins on the phone to booking.com, they told us they had emailed the property to sort it. (This is despite the owners son banging on the hotel door asking for an update)
We then managed to get 3-4 hours sleep before checking out where they started aggressively demanding payment again, despite booking.com clearly emailing them saying that they would resolve it within 24 hours.
In conclusion- if a budget hotel was what you wanted with a bed and a shower, this would usually be ok. However, you do have the chance of being attacked by the owners wife and her son- so it’s your choice to make!
Reading this back, it doesn’t actually do the situation justice as to how aggressive these people were. At one point I said ‘do not speak to my partner like that’ and the son responded, ‘or what will happen?’ whilst getting in my face.
I’m aware that the property can respond to these reviews, so I would encourage them to do better. We also videoed the whole incident (after the first couple of minutes once they got aggressive) incase of the above is denied.
Avoid at all costs.

A two-star structure that, for hospitality, courtesy and cleanliness deserves five!

Very well maintained and welcoming, close to 'Unipol Forum. Rooms well furnished and complete with everything you need, spacious bathrooms, great care for cleaning everywhere, very effective air conditioning. Staff of exquisite courtesy. The area where the hotel is located turned out to be very quiet at night. Good breakfast and, no small thing, affordable prices. This property has only two stars on the exterior plate but deserves five; highly recommended!

We are family

We came for health reasons, here there is an excellent nursing home, the availability of Mr. GINO and his smile, accompanied us in these four days for us a little anxious. For me it was fundamental and very reassuring more than a family member. The hotel is very pleasant, quiet and organized, but the highlight are Gino and his wife (and everyone else we met), thanks from Donatella and Gianni, thank you very much. See you next time.
