Rural Tuscany

Fantastic place. Ideal for visiting the major Tuscan cities through the most beautiful Tuscan villages. Apartments that allow absolute privacy both internally and externally. The owners run the family farm producing wine and oil. Very helpful and hospitable. Stay to repeat

Ideal stay for sightseeing and tranquility, beautiful swimming pool

We would very warmly welcome. The countryside surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, fantastically quiet. Large apartment with 2 terraces where the deer up
Come to the house.
The apartment is well equipped, very clean, comfortable beds. Great shower. When it got very cold, Alberto put a radiator in every room. If you like, you can also cheer on the fireplace. Restaurants and Pizzaria within walking distance.

A fantastic place to stay, highly recommend

Wonderful stay, beautiful location and lovely hosts. We stayed in the larger accommodation and it was well presented, well equipped and loads of space. The views from the terrace are breathtaking and we enjoyed every minute. Francesco and Alberto were so welcoming and lovely hosts. Thank you :)

The Perfect Vacation in the Chianti Region!

My family of 3 adults stayed at Due Piani for 5 nights at the end of December 2023 into early January 2024 and we wish we could have stayed longer! We were in Apartment 3 which has a working fireplace, two bedrooms and breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. The beautiful village of Barberino Val d'Elsa along with a market and restaurants are less than a 3 minute drive away. The farm is conveniently located within 30 minutes drive of Florence and many medieval villages like San Gimingnano so it is a perfect home-base for day trips.
We were treated like family by the lovely owners, Alberto and Brunella. They were such hospitable hosts, providing advice about the area, a tour around their winery, and bottles of their homemade wine and olive oil. Alberto shared a taste of his sweet wine made with Trebbiano grapes and it was probably the best wine we drank in all of Italy!
It was winter and the new year holiday, so we were the only guests on the farm and our hosts graciously allowed us roam of the estate. We freely explored the land, made friends with their farm cat, Micia and took in the peace and serenity of the surrounding countryside. It was a perfect Tuscan retreat.
The rooms were clean, the kitchen had all the staples one needs for cooking meals at home which we took advantage of. We were provided plenty of firewood for our fireplace and the use of their laundry facilities located outside of the apartment in another building on the property.
Sitting on the porch with a glass of wine in the evening listening to the church bells ring throughout the valley was a highlight of our vacation.
Alberto, we are grateful to you and your family for sharing your hard work and your land with us, what you have there is very special. We look forward to returning! Warm wishes for a happy 2024 from Donna, Michaelangelo, and JoAnn.

A corner of paradise in Chianti.

Located just outside Barberino Val D'elsa it offers absolute peace.
You find yourself surrounded by vineyards and olive trees.
The owner and his son are very kind and helpful.
For those who wish, there is a small corner in the reception where you can purchase the products they produce (wines, grappas, oils).
Don't forget the cat that goes around the apartments to say hello.
I recommend it for anyone who wants to relax.
