Convenient, friendly, a little cramped

This hotel is a convenient place to stay if you're visiting the medieval hill town of Bagnoregio. The hotel is rather cramped and a little musty, but our room had a charming 4-poster bed. There's a good restaurant downstairs in the hotel.

Remembering a great visit

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Romantica for 2 nights on our first trip to Italy. We traveled by train from Siena to Orvieto and then took a fun and somewhat exciting bus ride to Bagnoregio. Most of the other passengers were school kids.and the buss driver would chat and joke with them. We enjoyed our 2 night stay and have good memories of the comfort of our room and the delicious meals we were served.
When Pucci learned that we would be going to Rome next, she said that since she wanted to visit her daughter in Rome, she would go with us. Lamberto drove us all to the train stating and Pucci made sure we got off at the right train station. Lovely people. This trip was in October 2007.

Surprising find, family atmosphere

The owners of this restaurant could not be more friendly and helpful. We arrived there at 9pm and they rearranged furniture to accommodate our party of 12. Food was all locally sourced Nd amazingly fresh. Hidden away but worth the journey!

Best Meal Of Our Italian Holiday

Nestled in the tiny town of Bagnoregio is this gem of a restaurant.
Our lunch was a superb experience in this small but cozy ristorante with attentive service & great food.
Their signature dish is Carbonara al Tarfuto, a mildly creamy spaghetti which showcases the pungent flavors of truffles.
Our favorite was the eggs with truffles, a fluffy bed of scrambled eggs topped with truffle shavings, yum x2! The wild boar stew with caramelized onions was mouth watering delicious.
Best eaten with the local red Chianti & white wines.

Time stood still

8 years ago I was last time in Romantica Pucci; It is a nice hotel with comfort we awaiting nowadays. But time stood still! You have a parking place behind the building with direct entry. From here in Bagnoregio you are not far to all nice places around i.g. Lake Bolsena, Viterbo, Montefiascone, etc.
