Ferragasto top, great service and attentive to detail,
magnificent and super plentiful lunch... large and clean pool,
live music and what about,
a very pleasant surprise!

That's bad. To forget.

Shame on you! We booked lunch and the pool for mid-August, we arrived and, we had neither an umbrella nor chairs, basically we would have to stay in the sun throughout the day. The owner hastily had a broken table, described in the photo, taken from the lifeguard, and two chairs and they arranged us under the veranda of the restaurant entrance. In the dining room there was no air conditioning and it was a trauma to have lunch. Lunch, which started at 13:30 ended at about 16:30. Not to mention the lifeguard who ran far and wide around the poolside, to recall at every slightest suspicious situation, even if we were in an Olympic pool, it would have been enough to put a sign with written rules to be respected and sit and check, as all lifeguards do. Day to forget, I do not recommend it to everyone.

What reception?

Bad experience, using the pool was almost a nightmare. We were all the time under the control of a rude lifeguard who instead of saving people from possible drowning was there to exasperate and insult the customers who, I would like to emphasize, paid handsomely to be there in peace for a few hours. The closing time of the pool at 18, but the lifeguard tells us that at 17:30 we should have already left and with only two showers available for all customers it is impossible to be quick. The most serious event happened at 18:10: as we were leaving the "director" arrived and began to rail and shout at us (two adults and a child) ending the rant with two VAFFA... despite not having said anything offensive. The only right word was spoken by a waiter who pointed out to the manager that there was a child and that she was greatly exaggerating. If in June you look like this I dare not imagine in August what you do... The reception is something else.

Lots of potential...totally wasted

Obsolete hotel, left to itself for decades. Old rooms, dark and dusty atmosphere. Where nothing can be done about the furniture you could put a patch on the breakfast, but it's poor there too. The bread in particular will have been two days old if not more, very little choice in general. However, the prices are 4 star. They probably take advantage of the fact that it is the only hotel in Atri and that the location is wonderful, on the border with the park (the Villa) and literally a stone's throw from the main square. The staff is friendly and helpful. Get your wallet and make it worthy of being appreciated by those who come to visit Atri.
