Good base for visiting the area
Great value for money.
The owner was very helpful.
The accommodation is very "Easy" suitable for short periods, as a base to visit the area.
Some rooms are equipped with double beds, others with sofa beds ...
Breakfast is served in the restaurant La Brusta, which is owned by the same owner, just outside the B&B.

nice location, clean , but
the accommodation is well located in the small village of Arcidosso. The staff are nice and friendly, the younger generation now speaks a bit more English. The biggest turn off however is the noise to the town plaza where the bar owner keeps dumping piles of glass bottles in the garbage can throughout the night . IT IS LOUD!!! so are the garbage trucks that seem to appear every morning around 5.30 . IT IS LOUD. one of the apartments to the front are nice and spacious and clean, but WHY is there a sleep sofa instead of a real bed/mattress in the BEDROOM? needless to say that this did not offer for comfortable sleep. Based on those two factors we would not come back to this place,

Wished I could give higher ranking for the aspects that are nice, but...
Why 2 stars? Well....
here are the pros: clean room, somewhat spacious, friendly .
here are the cons:
no table, no chair, no glasses (for toothbrush at the very least), no extra toilet paper unless you ask, internet NOT working. The latter being HUGE: in this time and age one can adapt to no air-conditioning if that is the custom of the country /area, however not providing reliable wifi (but claiming it works, and not doing anything about it when being told that is not working is not cool). It is also common these days to provide a mini fridge/bar fridge in the room, particularly in countries of hotter climates (but, eitehr way, it is pretty much standard anywhere in teh Western world in any accommodation category). I was going to give 3 stars but not having internet (plus teh otehr things) really made the visit somewhat inconvenient when it was supposed to be an exciting vacation time.
Additionally: while the rooms seem clean and some newly renovated, nothing seemed to be properly finished- like paint sticking pin light switches, cables hanging out of wall, ledge onto balcony not finished. Everything seems done in a DIY manner , so lots of grandfathered in building sights and lots of situations to fall -- I alone had a good number of near falls tripping over unexpected ledges, unfinished steps, even the main staircase up is designed in a way that more than once I just about diverted a bad fall (but twisting my shoulder in the process). I wished I could give higher ranking as it is clean, conveniently located and the owners and employees are very friendly. If you book this place try to get a room in teh back (even though teh front balconies are nice) if you care for a quite night, The front rooms are facing the main square where is loud chatter until late night as well as big trash cans are lined up taht are being emptied (every day?!?!) at around 5 /5. 30 am. You want too have your window open at night to let some cooler air in as teh rooms do not have A/C

Good B&B
Nice B&B in the middle of Arcidosso.
A big singel room and with a big balkony that you could sit on and drink a glas of White wine, after a long day i this beutyfull landscape. The english wasn't so good but with some pointing and some gestures and some italian friends we did allright

Due giorni ad arcidosso
B&b carino e pulito, abbiamo soggiornato qui per due notti come base di partenza per un tour nei dintorni e siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti. Non abbiamo cenato qui ma c'è anche il ristorante/pizzeria per finire la serata.
Consigliatissimo per chi come noi cerca come prima cosa, la pulizia.
