Friendly, excellent service - highly recommended

We stayed at Hotel Evaldo as part of an Inghams ski package at the end of March. Everybody in our party commented on how great they thought it was.
First: they get all the basics right: check-in was super smooth, our rooms clean and comfortable, (very) generous breakfasts and dinners... everything you'd expect at a 'ski hotel'.
But it was far better than you might expect from that description. Examples:
* Shuttle service to/from the lifts, with a driver who never complained
* Great range of buffet options for breakfast (as well as eggs on demand) and excellent range of dinner options (in addition to another generous buffet for starters). We never felt the buffet offerings were cursory or corners were being cut... quite the reverse
* Experienced, professional, friendly staff - never intrusive; everything just worked well because they were well-trained and knew what they were doing
* Reasonably priced wine
* I didn't use it but my party tells me they thought the spa was great
* No need to 'book' a slot for dinner... just turn up during the published hours (unlike a lot of other ski-orientated hotels where they make you book a slot in advance)
All-in-all, Evaldo is a really well-run hotel that understands its customers and knows what it's doing. We'd gladly go back.

Would definitely come back!

A lovely hotel with nice extra touches (fluffy bathrobes, sliders, tissues, wall charging points, plenty of towels, etc.); good sized, clean rooms, great facilities - including the very welcome shuttle bus to and from the ski lifts, generous breakfast and dinner buffets, friendly and relaxed ambience.
However...
I have one complaint: PLEASE label the dishes on the buffets! As a vegetarian with complicated dietary issues (not my fault!!) it was impossible to tell what was and wasn't suitable/safe to eat!

A Superb Ski Hotel With First Class Dining & Great Staff

This was our second stay at Hotel Evaldo and we were as delighted as during our first stay. Our room was to high standard with an excellent modern bathroom and the quality of dining is first class - dinner in particular is superb. The quality and variety of the evening antipasta/salad bar is by far the best we have experienced and the choices for first and main courses nicely reflect local specialities and produce. (We loved the Ladin evening too!) The hotel wine list is extensive and fairly priced and we enjoyed sampling the extensive range of grappas in the bar - although the bar area itself could do with some updating. Spa facilities are also good. Restaurant, bar and housekeeping staff are all great and we are already looking forward to our return!

Super approved and recommended

Great hotel, spacious and comfortable room with two separate rooms, for us and the 3 little ones, sofa bed so-so but I have yet to find one that can define great.... Very good cuisine and hearty buffet for both breakfast and dinner. Advertised services all present (SPA, swimming pool and gym), cozy common areas as well as the staff. Arabba not beautiful but really strategically located to reach a lot of countries/pastures/valleys/trekking.
