very good location, most cozy rooms I've seen in Sardinia B&Bs

great kitchen and a large variety of food/drinks for breakfast;
excellent interior design, colorful and lively;
good location, close to supermercato and pretty close to the old center
smoking is not permitted within the apartment (not on the balcony)
friendly and flexible hosts

Negative experience

Dealt as well and breakfast but actually it is rent rooms breakfast you have to pay separately and do it outside the structure.
Untended shabby triple room and tiny bathroom.
Poor cleaning
Parking impossible to find
There was never anyone at the check-in desk to manage yourself
I will never go back
For 3 nights 350 euros without breakfast a disservice

Beautiful and clean

We stayed in the yellow room for a week. It is clean, it has a/c, balcony, tv and clean and spacious bathroom with shower. Everything seems quite new and put together with a lot of taste. We loved it here. Breakfast is nice, with very good coffee and I think it is availible at all times... we mostly slept in until about 10 and at 10.30 still were able to eat . Awesome place to stay, about 10 min of walk away from centro storico.

Just sweet

Everything there was just sweet, from the owner to the "blue" room. Me and my girlfriend felt like at home. Breakfast was rich and we had the whole kitchen for use in the evening for some quick pasta. A supermarket is just a few steps down the road and the beach also. Gino also provided a printer and a computer in the apartment - we forgot to print the boarding passes... Nice and clean. If will ever visit again (Alghero), we'll stay there again.

Very nice and clean with friendly stuff

I have stayed at Matlis for one night only. The place is very nice and clean. It does feel like you are at home and this is the nice thing. It does have a lift even though it's just on the first floor. It is very colourful and puts you in a good mood. Breakfast is very nice and there is plenty to choose from. It is very close to the historic centre of Alghero - probably the only nice bit of it to see and it is walking distance from the main walk by the sea. I really enjoyed staying here with my wife.
