We stayed 2 nights here ,girl on reception was very nice and friendly ,the room was so clean and tidy lovely and warm ,kitchen/dining are so clean and tidy had everything we needed . Bathrooms nice and clean .definatly stay again ,

A good overview of crazy port cie

Good experience, we were able to benefit from the very spacious and pleasant family room. The staff was attentive and helpful, however the price of laundry (16€) remains rather expensive, even taking into account the presence of a dryer. The setting was beautiful, the hostel well placed, 10 minutes from the city center. Good common areas provided, pleasant stay even if the toilets can be improved

Lovely for camping, close to town

Lovely place to camp, right outside Dingle town. Very straight forward booking, relatively cheap. Good kitchen amenities. Only critic I would give is that the toilets/showers are communal ie no seperate mens/ladies block

Shocking!

We stayed in Rainbow Hostel last night and had it booked and paid for two nights. We were attending a wedding locally, along with multiple other guests from the hostel.
This morning we were made aware of noise complaints when we returned to the hostel. Unfortunately for the other guests, there was 25-30 guests that arrived back at the same time and regrettably we were making a bit of noise as a large group. The night porter asked us to keep it down, which we did. This morning we were told that we had to leave unless we were willing to pay almost the full price for the two night stay again. This is extortion! It is not legal to ask someone to leave without offering a refund let alone trying to extort more money for a room that was already paid for.
This is a scam. Avoid the place at all costs. I’m sure we were not the first group to be given this ultimatum as he had a form ready to go when he met us. Chancers.
