Very good

The lady who welcomes us is shy but very nice and sweet. Very welcome, very nice room and very clean. Nice breakfast. A good place to land one night. Quiet house. In addition the town of Kinsale is very nice to do.

Do not stay here and BEWARE OF DOG!

Terrible experience. The hosts were both quite unfriendly. Not welcoming at all. I felt like we were burdening them with our stay. Beware of the dog. I tried to enter the kitchen to give them my voucher and was bitten by their dog twice drawing blood. The door was not marked "private." The host acted as if it was my fault the dog bit me. If I could give 0 stars I would. Also, this place is very difficult to find.

Good performance

Quietly in the countryside near Kinsale, we enjoyed a clean and well-proportioned room with good quality bedding and an adjoining bathroom, all very clean.
Very decent breakfast (Irish or continental). Discreet and friendly hosts.

Disappointing

This was our first B & B experience, and it was disappointing. The host was friendly enough but didn’t say much. Since we were newbies to the experience, it made it a little tough. The location is super far out from town center so it was not convenient for hanging out, especially if you don’t want to drive into town. Breakfast was delicious, so that was a plus and the room had a private bath. However, the shower wouldn’t work, and we didn’t feel like we could ask the host for help..

Disappointing

The B&B was in the middle of nowhere - literally in the countryside! Our room was a good size but very minimal - bed and a chair, no desk. The toilet - you need to wait for 15+ minutes for the tank to fill up with water, so we had to improvise and filled the tank manually! Shower was tight and wasn’t draining properly so had to stop the water once in while to avoid flooding in the shower. When we arrived, host told us that his wife is not there so there will be no breakfast and he gave us €20 for the both of us and advised if we can just get breakfast in town. That was fine - we bought croissants, bananas and coffee in town and brought it back to the B&B… obviously wasn’t enough to buy us 2 Irish breakfasts… ended up to be just a B (no &B).
