Central, cozy, and pleasant.

Excellent place to stay when exploring West Clare. Carmel is a lovely host, friendly, full of advice and pulls a great pint in the bar. Fresh, crisp clean sheets every day, best shower in the west, in a cozy environment and to top it all off a killer breakfast. Loosen your belt or put on your stretchy trousers for this one. Will be back.

Bed and breakfast with NO breakfast

Unfortunately I was disappointed by my stay here I only needed a bed and breakfast for one night- paid full rate only to find in the morning that it was a bed only and no breakfast- they must have stopped doing breakfast- the room was ok although WiFi didn’t work and a stain on the sheet I needed to eat in the morning and there was nowhere else available at that time in the town - so not happy!

Kilrush October Sailing League

Comfortable beds, great shower, good location. Carol was very accommodating and got up on the Bank Holiday Monday (October 28) to serve us breakfast at 7:00am. We booked in the evening before and told her that we had to leave early in the morning to make the tide to sail back to Fenit. Carol had a great breakfast and a pot of coffee ready before 7:00 and to top it all off she gave us coffee to go.

Oh KIlrush

Buggles is a lovely quaint place to stay. Breakfast was excellent. It is cheap and clean.
It is a pity the same can't be said for the town of Kilrush. It has great potential but sadly not used and some very dirty dilapidated shops and buildings. Definitely will not be back

Excellent pub and a wonderful hot shower!

I regarded Carmel as extremely kind in organising automatically my day in Scattery Island. I also appreciated your help, Carmel, in finding the B&B near Carrigaholt. I arrived Kilrush soaked and exhausted and left warm, refreshed and joyful. Thank you :)
