Excellent with a personal touch

This is my favourite place to stay in
Killarney, from the time we arrived , great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and excellent accommodation. The lady of the house Eileen is always there to welcome people and to ensure everyone enjoys their stay. For me Killarney is a wonderful place to visit and to stay in the Failte will always enhance your stay.

A great stay perfectly located within walking distance of everything in Killarney

This was the best hotel we’ve stayed in during our trip so far. The room was spacious for our family of four and had been renovated with some thoughtful, modern touches. We didn’t eat at the restaurant—not because it didn’t look good, but there were just too many other great places to try that we never got to it. There isn’t a lift, but that doesn’t hurt my rating at all but just something to consider when planning and packing because you will have to carry whatever you bring up at least a couple fairly steep flights of stairs. It’s worth it to be so centrally located. If you’re looking for a comfortable spot in Killarney with parking right nearby (free parking in the Glebe car park from 6:30pm to around 8:00am so very cheap if you aren’t leaving your car there all day), this hotel is a great choice! The location can’t be beat & allowed us take advantage of all that Killarney has to offer. We didn’t interact with staff much (just because we didn’t really need anything), but everyone was friendly when we did encounter someone working at the property.

Just like home in Killarney

I cannot recommend The Failte Hotel enough! They were so kind, helpful and great to work with. We had a very large group of crazy yanks! Colm was such a nice young man that helped with the luggage, room assignments and graciously got us more towels when asked. The owner, Eileen, still watches over the hotel, restaurant and Pub. Noise levels were not an issue at all. Beds were so comfy. They just had a complete remodel. The location was perfect, super close to everything and there is a car park right next door for the cars. The food was delicious! We ate breakfast and dinner. We also sat with the owner and chatted about life before we left. She is so gracious! Definitely on our list when we return to Killarney.

The Fáilte Killarney

Really friendly staff, quick service and the food was lovely. I recommend the fish & chips and the beef. They had live music and sports coverage which was perfect for our party. A really memorable experience while on holiday in Killarney.

Best choice!

We were three friends and had four nights at the Failte Hotel.
"Failte" means in English: "welcome" And exactly this feeling we had from the first moment until our departure.
This traditional house offers a beautiful pub with live music on the ground floor, where one can also enjoy excellent meals. At breakfast, one enjoys perfect service with a direct view of the bustling downtown.
The room was perfect for the three of us; we slept like logs in the comfortable beds, which were made daily.
The location is perfect in the center of the beautiful little town, just 3 minutes from the train station or the pubs.
Our hotel choice was perfect, and this was even confirmed to us by the concierge of a five-star hotel!
