Impromptu Dublin Visit
We booked this hotel and short notice as our visit was a little impromptu. It’s ideally placed to explore Dublin with all of the main sights in easy reach. We weren’t disappointed as it was really lovely.
On arrival our first impression was with kitty who was extremely friendly and helpful when booking us in. We met kitty again the second night and I can say she is a credit to the hotel as were all of the staff we met during our two night stay.
The room was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. It’s a modern minimalist design with a shower/toilet cubicle and the sink is in the room so no bathroom as such. Everything else is as expected, wardrobe with safe, good sized tv etc. no tea and coffee facilities in the room but there is a galley on each floor so you can help yourself there.
We didn’t have breakfast but did use the bar area which has a really good vibe with a modern vibrant clean feel and lots of comfortable seating. The bar staff were excellent and helped us choose some stunning cocktails.

Good but needs some tweaks
Arrived early and don’t expect rooms to be ready. One of them was so we could dump the bags etc. check in was fast. This depends on how quick you are using an iPad. Nice touch that you can he a free cocktail if you choose not to have room cleaned. On a two day trip we went for the free drink! The rooms do not match the downstairs decor at all. Very minimalist. I enjoyed the separate quilts for each person on the beds and the rooms were very clean.
However, the sound of the construction across the street woke me up at 7am each day which is not great. The doors on floor 3 down not have soft close so they did slam when leaving the room. The gallery is a good idea but I don’t like having to get dressed to walk along the corridor to get a morning drink. Also the hot tap is tricky to use if you’re not used to them. And a jug of milk left in the side doesn’t seem that hygienic when milk cartons have run out.

The ruby molly experience
After 4 delays flying out of Kansas City Missouri to Chicago Illinois ultimately landing in Dublin Ireland 10 hours later.
We arrived at the Ruby Molly Hotel which was a welcoming & easy check in . The Hotel Molly breakfast has so many different choices from spectacular fruits, to eggs, hash browns etc. coffee, tea, water. As a retired facilities director, I absolutely love the soft close doors on the guest rooms, I can’t tell you how many times during our travels of getting woke up by guest room doors closing & opening. The Hotel Molly rooms were not only clean, comfortable & the air conditioning worked above expectations. Everything I have read about Europe hotels not having adequate air conditioning but the Molly hotel exceeded my expectations!! The staff was attentive, amazing & worked hard to satisfy every guest in their hotel!!

Ruby was my favorite hotel stay while I was in Ireland. Everything was so clean and the staff was very helpful.

This hotel is gorgeous! Comfortable bed, cold air con, lovely staff. It’s only a couple blocks from any action your heart could desire!
