Dublin weekend break

This is a great centrally located hostel just a short walk from O’Connell street. I was in a shared dorm and liked the pod style bed, which had a pull over curtain for privacy. The showers and bathroom were OK and there was a bit of noise at night from the nearby area, but it didn’t cause much disruption. I also found the hostel to be very good value for money, although I didn’t have the breakfast, so I can’t comment on the price there. The staff seemed friendly and helpful and it really is a hostel geared towards young people and those on a budget, but you get what you pay for, and it delivers the prime location. I’d definitely return here and the number 41 bus is also nearby to get to the airport, which I found useful. I estimate it’s only 200-300 meters away, but only exact coins (€2.60) accepted. No change is given for notes and coins!

The bed was comfortable and the room was good. I felt very safe and comfortable inside the hostel, and overall it was a good experience.
I’d especially like to compliment Gabriel and Otávio. They were very polite and helpful, and gave me lots of useful tips during my stay. They both do a great job!
The only thing I felt was missing was a kitchen. The microwave in the Chill Out room was very helpful, but considering the available space, I think having a kitchen would be a great addition.
Just a suggestion for future improvement. Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed my stay!

I will definitely return.

Excellent hotel in Dublin, I will return without a doubt. The room was impeccable, clean in every corner, with a level of care that you notice immediately as soon as you enter.
The staff was very kind and always ready to help. I had indicated some preferences during the booking phase and they followed them to the letter, without needing to repeat anything at check-in. A detail that demonstrates true attention to the customer.
The cuisine also deserves a mention, you eat very well, both at breakfast and at dinner. Fresh ingredients and dishes prepared with care, in addition to quick and friendly table service.
The location is excellent for exploring Dublin on foot, close to the main points of the city and connections to public transport.
A perfect stay from every point of view. I recommend it without reservations, the next time I am in Dublin I will book here again.

Everything was clean and well maintained with all the expected amenities - only downside is the luggage lockers pre/post check in are a bit expensive

Good hostel, but extremely disappointing customer service.

I was originally booked to stay from 30 June to 10 July. Unfortunately, due to repeated noise and disturbances in my room, I spoke with the reception staff and, with their approval, checked out early on 5 July.
While the staff acknowledged the situation and approved my early departure, the real problem started afterwards. It has now been 22 days, and I still have not received my refund. Even more disappointing, my emails have been ignored, and I have received no update or explanation despite multiple follow-ups.
It's a shame because I actually liked the hostel. However, good accommodation alone is not enough when customer service fails after checkout. If you ever have an issue requiring assistance or a refund, don't expect timely communication.
I hope the hostel resolves this matter and improves the way it handles customer support and refund requests. Until then, I cannot recommend it based on my experience.
