Good stay

Stayed 3 nights with Julie. We were able to check in on time. Car could be at the door. We have been received very very hospitably.
Rooms are not big. But more than enough if you're on the road all day.
Every morning fresh towels were provided by Pamela And also the breakfast that was provided by her.

Very disappointing

Very disappointing. We stayed in bedroom 1 which is in desperate need of a makeover. The sheets which were supposed to be white were old, very creased and grey. There was no plug in the sink and the taps were the type that you have to press and only stayed on for a few seconds. The toilet seat was loose. The furniture was old, mismatched and not suitable for the cramped room. We are well seasoned travellers and quite easy to please but this room was not acceptable. We would definitely not recommend it.

Great Place To Stay

We stayed for one night (10/26). Julie was a wonderful host and gave us a quick but thorough tour of the place, our room, and even how to open/close the front door properly. Though we had a car, we opted to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner and then take the bus into the city with ease. The next day, we had a delicious and filling Irish breakfast provided by one of the staff members (we didn't get a chance to catch her name) which took place in a cozy and well-decorated dining room. Overall, this place was a perfect 1st stop on our trip around Ireland, and gave us a nice impression of Irish hospitality. Will definitely keep it in our minds to stay here again next time we are in Dublin.

Disappointment and bad experience

Problematic welcome upon arrival, requiring an immediate payment and especially 25€ / night more expensive than planned, by email for 4 people. A transfer corresponding to the two double rooms had been made at the reservation for the 1st night and cashed. The claim of 100€ extra requested made the nights of the 2 rooms over 2 nights higher than the reservation possible on booking for the same days and dates. Regrets for going live for this B&B.
We did not encounter any problems with the other B&Bs during our stay and the welcome was otherwise more friendly.
The intervention of a Frenchman based in Ireland was a help to obtain a compromise with the owner.
After this unpleasant welcome, we had a very directive and even infantilizing presentation of the place.
The SdB is small with push-buttons of very short duration.
Someone allowed themselves to enter our rooms, in our absence, without informing us in advance. It wasn't for cleaning. The windows had been opened and were still open when we returned around 11pm.
The rooms are clean but small (you have to go over the bed when the suitcase is on the floor). No chair or other to put his things or shower towels.
The B&B is located in a residential area 10 min by bus from the center + about 7 min walk to reach the stop. Last bus at 11:30.
End of vacation marred by this bad experience and this very unpleasant welcome that I will describe as mercantile.

First class host and accommodation

Stayed here in June , a party of 9. All the rooms were perfectly clean, and lovely decoration.
The location was ideal for both getting to and from the airport , travelling into Dublin City and exploring the larger area of Dublin. 20 minute walk to the Dart or 10 min walk onto Drumcondra road.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful , Julie as a host was superb, we all felt so as home.
Great facilities inc wifi.
