Great location but was a little noisey, road outside

We stayed 3 nights and every thing was fine 10 mins to city and same to airport, easy bus ride , must have right money 3 euros. Beds were comfy and room clean and ok in size. I would stay again for the location alone.Get used to the traffic noise.

deceptive pricing!

We purchased a room for 3 on booking.com and were quoted a price. By the time we paid it, it was doubled the price! We had a small room for 3 (twin beds), very small, tv had 2 channels, it was clean and had wi fi,bus stop right outside: so, there were nice things, but not worth what we could have paid in the city (more convenient for the price!). Also, how can you call yourself a bed and breakfast and then be asked to PAY for the breakfast additionally?

BAREBONES; Would NOT Recommend

My husband and I stayed at the ABC B&B just over a week ago in Dublin. We were very disappointed with the room. The one bedroom apt.had no kleenex in it so we used toilet paper. It only had one garbage can that was in the bathroom. The bathroom was so tiny you could not fully turn around when on the toilet. The second day I had to leave a note for the house keeper to leave two clean bath towels as there was only one and there was still crumbs on the carpet from the day before. We had asked the host if he could call a taxi for us for the next morning as we were leaving on an early morning excursion and he said he would. That next morning, no taxi came and we waited for 15 minutes. We ran up a block to the Skylon hotel who gladly called a taxi which came within minutes, otherwise we would have missed our tour. The taxi driver we did get, told us that taxi's will not stop in the front of the ABC because of the bus stop. The next morning the host did not mention anything and we decided not to. Did he forget? We chose this place because most of the reviews were good. The morning we left, to catch a plane the host just said; 'See you later' We will never stay there again!

Apologies that your room was not properly cleaned and missing a towel, we will ensure this does not happen again
I am surprised the taxi didn't come for you as we regularly help our guests to book their taxis and I've never experienced a taxi not coming. Taxis are allowed to stop in front of our house to pickup/drop off guests.
We are sorry that our accommodation wasn't suitable for you on this occasion but we hope that you enjoyed your trip to Dublin

It Was Good

There was good communication before we got there except they didn't tell me they only except cash payment so I have ended up with a huge cash advancement fee on my credit card. The place itself was lovely I think set over three buildings very clean and the rooms a good size however the showers were had to work I am not use to having to use a dial instead of taps on the shower. It was hot and the radiator kept coming on. The floor creaked badly above us with people walking about in there room. Breakfast was really nice with a good selection of breakfast items and with a very friendly host. The only other annoying thing is they never had a laundry for guest to use, we were desperate to wash some clothes and they could not even guide us to the nearest Laundromat. Also we did not need it but they have excellent parking option for people with cars. We travel by bus which was super quick and easy to get into Dublin and also getting a taxi was easy and about 8 euros.

Good Experience

The ABC House B&B was our introduction to Ireland. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous! We enjoyed our stay. Andre was very attentive to all guests’ needs. Many residents called him by name, and all seemed happy at the B&B.
