Dear Jayne H,
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed our excellent location, found the hotel comfortable and spotless, and had such a great experience at breakfast. It’s also lovely to know our team made you feel welcome throughout your stay. We’re thrilled you and your friends are enjoying the live music in the bar, and that the leisure centre added to your break with a relaxing swim and jacuzzi. With so many cafés, bars and restaurants nearby, we’re glad you’re making the most of the area. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope the rest of your stay is just as enjoyable.

The disappointment was someone vaping in there room and set off the fire alarm at 3 different intervals during the night which was startling and terrifying, and disrupted what was supposed to be a treat for myself and my friend.

Great location but not much else

Nice staff, great location but this hotel has seen better days. Long corridors to rooms, outdated rooms, few basic amenities in bathroom, breakfast buffet about a C+.

Dear Barry W,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very pleased to hear you found our team welcoming and enjoyed our central location. We appreciate your comments regarding the bedroom amenities, and we are currently reviewing these as part of our ongoing upgrade plans. We’re also looking into what may have let us down during your breakfast experience, as this area normally receives very strong feedback from guests. Your comments are genuinely helpful, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more enjoyable stay.

Average Hotel -- Good location

The good and not so good:
The location is great. Right in town and close to everything. There is a good exercise room and the bar is large and can be lively.
Room was average at best. No hooks for towels or shelf in bathroom. No cups for toothbrushing. Internet was very poor (room 166).
Parking was in public lots and this is most likely the same for all downtown hotels.

Dear Butlerthedog,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed our central location, lively bar and leisure facilities. We appreciate your comments on the room amenities and will review these. We’ll also look into the internet issue you experienced. Parking can be limited in the town centre, but we understand the inconvenience. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts.

Good location. Poor quality hotel

Good location in the centre of Donegal Town.
Bed and room was damp with the room window being misty inside in the morning.
No bottled water in the room. We requested a glass of water from the overnight reception staff member who was extremely unfriendly and told us our only option was to go to a vending machine on the top floor. He also went on to advise if we had a problem with that to take it up with the manager. Luckily a young staff member cleaning the bar didn't see any problem in providing us with 2 glasses of tap water.

Dear annemcb1,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed our central location, but we’re very sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the room and with our overnight reception service. This is not the standard we aim to provide. We will review the bedroom conditions you described and address the service concerns with our team. We’re pleased a member of our bar staff was able to assist, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can improve.
