Two relaxing days away

Had a fantastic stay, staff food, accommodation was superb. Staff from reception bar and hotel in general were very accommodating as I was after having a knee replacement I needed my ice pack frozen and I need not have worried as there was absolutely no problem. Will definitely be back. Tks to everyone.

Well worth a visit for the staff alone.

Staff and food were excellent . Michael, the manager, obviously leads his staff by example. They make you feel very welcome from the outset.
Bedroom was spacious and bed was very comfy.

Great hotel

Rooms were very clean and comfortable
Great value for money breakfast was exceptional lots of choices
Lunch was equally as nice
Atmosphere was great lots of people around during the day
Beautiful foyer to enjoy a few relaxing drinks
Leisure centre was lovely also
Staff are very professional and friendly

Wouldn’t return or reccomend

Got a great deal through Rory’s Travel Club, but the stay was very disappointing.
Food was great and most staff were lovely, but a couple of bar staff were rude enough to really affect our visit.
The room was absolutely roasting, we barely slept all night it was like a furnace and the window opened about 2 inches!
The water in the shower was dangerously hot until my husband freed a stuck tap with a cloth.
The leisure facilities were nowhere near 4‑star standard. The chlorine actually irritated my skin, it was all so so dated. The changing rooms were a kip, the first shower I tried was a trickle of water, and the second had no shower gel in the dispenser!
Also no robes or slippers were provided in the rooms for going to the pool either which I’ve never experienced from a hotel that has a pool?
We left needing a proper sleep and a long bath — not exactly the relaxing break we’d planned.

Calming hotel

We had a lovely time at this hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. At breakfast the waitress was particularly helpful. Unlike a lot of hotels our breakfast was freshly cooked with an amazing choice. I would definitely go back.
