Lovely place to stay

We very much enjoyed our stay here and June was a great hostess. Very quiet and comfortable, lovely garden, and a really excellent breakfast. And it’s easy to find, quick to get in and out of Kilkenny, which is a wonderful city to explore. The famous pottery of Nicholas Mosse is just round the corner and there are plenty of interesting places to see close by.

Dissapointed

Property asked for 50% increase after accepting my original booking. Not giving off a very professional attitude or approach. I cancelled immediatly and booked elsewhere.Be very wary of booking here!!!

Excellent

I stayed one night on a recent business trip.What a lovely place!My room was spotlessly clean,comfy and quiet.Good WIFI which is essential for the business traveller.There is a balcony where you can site and enjoy the view.June the hostess is friendly and helpful.HIGHLY recommended.

Great B&B - perfect if attending Mount Juliet

Stayed for the night while attending a wedding in Mount Juliet. June was a great host and very accommodating. Our room was a immaculately clean. We had the full Irish breakfast which was perfectly cooked along with a pot of coffee. I’d thoroughly recommend Aard Oakleigh if you’re in Kilkenny for a night or a few days !

Wonderful home!

June was a gracious hostess. She took wonderful care of us, made a lovely breakfast, and was so helpful and understanding of our late arrival. Her home and grounds are beautiful, and her warm smile was a great start to our day!
