The room looked like hospital room

I don’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a beautiful, charming place to stay.
This is a great budget option if you are looking for somewhere, clean, centrally located, walking distance to all the restaurant, shops and Monkey Forest. The host was very nice and friendly . But if you’re looking for somewhere with a view cute and charming this is not your place. The room was very clean but it looked like a hospital room with the same kind of lights they use in hospitals and dark. I come to Bali a lot and I usually stay in guest houses in the middle of the rice fields with view and lots of windows so I had a hard time dealing with lack of view and room darkness. Both nights during my stay around midnight there was loud static noises from the wire cables near the bed that woke me up.
If you are a young backpacker who looks for a clean safe cheap room in the middle of Ubud you’ll love it. But If you travel with style and like a beautiful room with view you won’t like this place.

I would stay here again

This is a great budget option for staying in Ubud. We stayed a week and would have been happy to stay longer.
Like many places, the entrance is off an alley from the main road that is too small for cars. The sign is small, but just look for the Cinta cafe and you're in the right place.
The room was nicer than I expected for the price. Very clean and relatively spacious. The water in the shower was hot. The Wifi was mostly pretty good from the room. There was a fridge in the room which was nice. There was also a small shared kitchen that we used for a few basic meals. You just have to be careful to keep it clean and closed after using in case some pesky monkeys decide to visit!
There are a few seats on the large shared patio that overlook a few neighbors places where we ate and watched the birds. It was very serene and relaxing.
The location is great, about halfway between Monkey Forest and the temples. Just far enough off the main street that noise isn't an issue. The family that runs it spoke english and were extremely friendly.
The only gripe I can muster is the AC was juuuuust enough. We had it set at 16C (the lowest setting) and while ultimately it got cool enough to sleep, it was not as strong as I would have liked. But given the positives, including the affordability, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent value for money premises in a super location

My room was large and air conditioned with good shower/toilet facilites and a fridge to keep your water (and in my case, beer) nice and cool. Breakfast was simple but nourishing and included in the price.
This is a budget guest house but offers fantastic value for money and is clear and the room is serviced daily.
The location is quiet being off one of the main drags but is still well situated to get into the town to enjoy all that it has to offer. The owners (and their staff) are very friendly and speak good English which was a real bonus for me.
