Definetly coming back

This hotel was good in all ways. Especially the food was really delicious and there was a lot of variety. Beside this I felt welcome because Kelum and his team have been very kind and helpfull to me. I am looking forward to come back!

Your bungalow with sea view

Unpretentious property but with spectacular views of the Karimunjawa lagoon.
Perfect as a base to discover the wonders of this island still fortunately wild and not too touristy.
Exceptional staff who try in every way to help you and make your holiday magnificent. I had a great time!!

A great place to get away!

My family had a great time at Ary's. we stayed in bungalow 4, which is the closest to the beach. It is in a secluded part of the island, close to the airport. Staff is very friendly. Food was good and not expensive. Fruit juices were freshly squeezed and delicious. Staff can set up day trips to the islands near by. We went to the closest island for a day trip. The cooks caught the fish we ate for lunch on our way there. Free snorkeling equipment is available from the hotel. However, you don't need a boat to see some cool stuff with the masks. Great beach area and no waves...especially nice when traveling with little ones.
Things to know ahead of time- there's no electricity in the day, no wifi, and limited cell service. Bring lots of bug spray and a supply of snacks as there are no restaurants near. Also, payment is cash only. They are closed January through March due to unpredictability of boats during rainy season.

There's not much more to say than all the rest of the positive reviews...
After 5 nights staying at an other less remote resort on the island (Breve Azurine) we booked a bungalow for 3 nights. We stayed 5 !!!
As we were there during the end off the Ramadan, we were almost the only guest.
Most off the staff was off and only Ian, Pom and a mother who was cooking were looking after us. They spoiled us to death, fantastic food (the best on the island) and great service.
It's a isolated place, so you have to rent a motorbike or a taxi to go (by a terrible road) to the main village. Because the island is not very touristic yet, there is not much to do in the village. So no need to go, unless you need money from the only ATM on the island. The bungalows are not cheap, if you compare it with the rest of Indonesia. But all the accommodation on the island is expensive. (and also taxi's!!). But the excellent food is not expensive at all. If you really need internet: buy a Indonesian phone card and otherwise ask Ian if you can borrow his phone. There is a mobile signal. Again, we had a fantastic time and hoping to come back again.
