Fabulous, friendly hotel, with a great location and pool!

This is the third time we have stayed at this lovely hotel. It is a little more expensive than a budget hotel but is well worth it. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, if required. All have a private balcony, or outside seating area, overlooking the pool area. There is always hot water for the shower, unlike many places we have stayed at Inn India. The pool is well maintained, cleaned and water tested daily. The sun beds could do with the cushions replacing, some are quite worn. Breakfast is available, it's quite basic but tasty, however, there are many places to eat nearby, if preferred. There is a safe in reception, available for customers use, with your own safety deposit box and key. The staff are fabulous! Always very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Ignore the bad reviews, you will struggle to find better for the price

Good to be back

First time back to India since covid. Returned to hotel as last time was very impressed. The hotel is even better and was a great stay. Had problem with fridge but was replaced within a few hours. Great room nice pool and location. But what is most impressive is the staff. All are polite and happy to check everything is OK. There is nof one member of staff who doesn't engage in making your stay great.

Stay at Hotel Thushara

We went to Kovalam in Jan 2023, booked 2 AC rooms via Agoda and got good deal (Rs. 2700 per night per room) The staff was courteous and very helpful. Beach is very neat to this hotel but only a narrow passage is available to get to hotel from road, however it's only 5-6 min walk from road.
Rooms were clean and tidy with balcony. It doesn't have restaurant so we'd to order from outside. Getting veg food is a bit difficult at Kovalam and we've to somehow manage with the available options.
Over all a good experience.

Good

Better than what we expected for this price. The receptionist was very friendly and informative. Other staffs were also good. Swimming pool was neat and well maintained. Rooms were clean. When we checked in the AC remote didn't work, but it was replaced soon. Only thing with which we weren't satisfied was that they don't provide food.

CHEATERS AND LIARS in hotel Thushara.

This is the worst hotel in Kerala (I regularly rate moderately good hotels as 3 or 4, so rating of 1 is below poor.) that I have ever stayed in. In one word, they are CHEATERS! In the leaflet of our booking it was clearly written that, air conditioning is there. The hotel staff rudely refused to give us an AC room. Why you should not book this hotel -
1. They are cheaters and liars. They scam people.
2. They sell double rooms as triple rooms. There was no space for an extra bed. My IIIT hostel has bigger double rooms btw.
3. The washroom was extremely shabby.
4. Staff was extremely rude.
5. Filled with mosquitoes.
I would suggest people to stay on some other less rated hotel. Probably they will have better rooms than these guys.
The hotel guys claim that they donot care about user reviews. OKAY!
To the cheaters of hotel thusara,
You can have that advanced amount we paid you. But believe me, you will end up loosing your business if you treat customers like this.
