Bad experience at Shingar Shimla, the Mall

Had a hard time reaching the hotel in the first place. Farway from the drop off point. Had to climb a lot of stairs unnecessarily with the kids and luggage. Rooms have dirty bed linen, dirt is accumulated in the corner of the room, dirty and smelly bathroom and very small room as compared to the room tariff.

Good Experience with Shingar

After scouring almost 10 properties in Shimla, I finally chose this hotel and trust me, my choice was right.
Stayed for 3 nights and everything was well.
Pro -
1- Location is few steps above shimla high Court parking.
2-Located at the beginning of Mall Road, you can start exploring Mall Road from here.
3- Restaurant staff is very co-operative.
4- Other nearby restaurant also available on walkable distance.
5- Front desk can arrange car to explore nearby attractions.
6 - Heater is available in all rooms.
7- View was awesome from room 603.
8 - 24hours hot water.
Cons -
1 - Restaurant food cost is little higher than usual.
2 - Service is little slow but manageable.
3- Need few white LED ceiling lights as sometime warm white creats loneliness.
But overall superb experience and Mr Suresh is very supportive.

Top rated service quality.
Been staying with them since four decades and watching improvising themselves.
Suresh jee & Om Parkash jee are there to resolve your concern.

good, value for money.

Location is very good. It is walking distance from Mall road. Rooms are good. Service is good. Only one problem is need to climb few steps to access the Hotel. Good restaurants are on walking distance.
