Nice stay at Hotel Shrie Shaanth

Nice stay at salem hotel
Myself and wife stayed in Hotel Shrie Shaanth
on 5 th&6 th Aug 25 in room no 207.
The rooms were neat& clean
The bathroom , toilet was very clean& well maintained.
A/C worked well.
They provide complimentary breakfast but we haven't taken due to our schedule. The restaurant serves both veg& non veg items. Of course, number of good veg hotels are available at a walkable distance, as this hotel is close to bus stand.
Few deficiencies:
You get only lukewarm water, not hot water, in the morning for bath . In spite of my complaint, no steps were taken. But we need to ensure its availability during forthcoming rainy& winter season.
Newspaper not provided to room even though they charge close to Rs. 2500/-.
But i would recommend it for a comfortable short stay with family in spite of these shortcomings.

Decent stay

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights.... Booked thro MakeMyTrip..... This hotel is located opp new Bus stand....very busy area.... The room was quite spacious, clean. The staff @ the reception...quite friendly...i need to mention about one Mr Selvam who was so courteous and readily attended to our needs. No restaurant attached to this hotel. But there are many veg/ non veg restaurants around this place. The only problem we faced during our stay...was .. Wi-Fi facility was very poor.

Close to new bus stand

This hotel is close to new bus stand in manivannan street. The room is spacious for single person. Toileteries were available. WiFi was bit slow as some work was going on. The breakfast spread was good. Overall a nice stay

Budget hotel with all facilities

This hotel is located near new bus stand at the heart of the Salem city, rooms/bathroom are neat and clean well maintained.complimentary breakfast was also good with south indian and continental food. Nice place to stay .

Nice Stay at Hotel Shrie Shanth, Salem

Reached by train from Chennai on a Sunday evening and stayed for one night only. We requested the hotel for a pick up from Salem Junction. But they said no such arrangement on sundays. As the flyover work is going on at five roads area, we had to take a detour and travel extra two kilometers to reach the hotel. When we produced the online booking paid voucher to the front office staff, he was not well versed with such arrangements (on earlier occasions we had direct booking with hotel, hence no issues early). Afterwards we were allotted a deluxe room in second floor. Room was good, clean and space was that of a standard room. AC was noiseless. They have a restaurant in the ground floor. Lift facility is available. Room service was good. Complementary breakfast with South Indian & Continental items was good. Even at the time checking out also the front office staff asked for payment for room rent. Then I had to call Yatra customer service to confirm my payment to them. The front office staff need to be trained in handling online bookings so as not to inconvenience the customers. Otherwise, the hotel is good for a stay at Salem.
