Perfect for exploring Panjim while cocooned from it when in the hotel

Perfectly positioned to explore panjim, near the bus station, walking distance to Panjim market, yet located in the historic latin quarter transports you to a bygone time. The hotel decor, layout and furnishings do not disappoint. The staff are friendly and make you feel truly welcome. Rooms are comfortable with good AC (and ceiling fans). Highly recommended for a relaxing time away from the hustle-bustle of modern life in an environment that prompts reflection.

Plenty of better hotels in Fontainhas

Room was ok (water is lukewarm) but I decided to leave after one night of a six night booking because of the owner which other reviews on this site have mentioned. This gentleman sits all day at reception and glares at the guests and staff. That evening, he had an argument with me stating no food was allowed into my room even though all I had was milk and a coke bottle (they allow for tea in the rooms so I assumed liquids were fine). He mentioned that the place (and all of Panjim) had rats. His rudeness was in contrast to the staff who were very nice.

Beautiful stay in Panjim People heritage building

Charming hotel in historic and beautiful quarter Fontainhas. We recommend to pay a bit more and choose one of the fabulous and spacious heritage rooms opposite the main building. Good restaurant with great beer prices.

Nice location

We had a room ad across the street in a quiet place On the upper floor with a view of kindergarten..really nice.
In hotel also nice rooms but some directly ad road..quite busy during the day!
Breakfast reasonable..sad that no cappuccino can be poured.
The owner rather bossy to staff.
Right in the old center.town itself definitely worth it.

Lovely old heritage hotel.

Lovely old heritage hotel located in the old historic latin quarter. It id 150 years old. Tradtional old portuguse decor and furniture. I loved it. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean bed linen and fluffy white towels ! Very helpful staff.
