perfect place for solo travelers like me
perfect place for solo travelers like me. its my 6th hostel in in entire india trip but I can say one of the coolest in south india. clean bedrooms and toilets. space for fun and work.

Terrible
I paid an average of ₹1,000 per night here, expecting a decent place to rest after a long journey. Instead, I got barely any sleep. For a hostel/dormitory setup, the management is failing at basic crowd control and layout design.
A few critical issues that ruined the experience:
Terrible Water Dispenser Placement: The water dispenser is located right outside the dorm door. Guests are constantly going in and out to get water, meaning the heavy door is opening and shutting all night long. The noise is constant and makes it impossible to sleep.
Couples in the Dorm Room: Dorms are shared spaces for travelers seeking rest, not a cheaper alternative to an OYO room. Couples were being openly intimate in the shared room, which is completely inappropriate, deeply uncomfortable, and highly disruptive for the fellow dorm mates who just want to sleep. Management needs a strict policy against this.
Zero Enforcement of Quiet Hours: Dorm guests need to be strictly advised about "silent hours." There is absolutely no discipline here, and people talk or move around loudly without any regard for others.
When you travel a long distance, adequate sleep isn't a luxury—it's a necessity. Paying ₹1,000 a night just to stay awake all night due to bad design and zero rules is a terrible experience. I hope the management takes a hard look at their policies.

worst experience
We were denied entry because one of us had only PAN Card as ID proof ( and proof that passport and aadhar are in process of renewal and processing). We offered to submit birth certificate, enrolment receipt for Aadhar card, rental agreement but we were not allowed entry. The suggestion by the staff was that we should go back to Bangalore after having driven for hours/ that the one person should go back to Bangalore by themselves. There was no concern for safety or the fact that we spent 4 hours trying to find a way to check in, and we were not able to have any sort of food and that we hadn’t slept all night to come to this place on time. After 4 hours of trying to negotiate they asked us to leave. Didn’t realise that it was possible for a hostel brand with such a reputation to show such a lack of empathy, consideration and for the leaders of this brand to talk to us with such rudeness and apathy.
There was no apology or guilt after making us lose a whole day of our holiday. If you don’t accept PAN Card and EID, mention BEFORE we book.

Scammers and frauds
Went to GoStops Ooty and they are a big fraud. The reception guy "Sumit" cheated us with the auto guy who asked 1800 to show us 4-5 tourist spots. He said it is the right price but later got to know the maximum price should be 900-1000... Such a scam. Plus there is no convenient refund policy in case u want. Please take a hotel it's much better.

Not a good place for backpackers.
I have been in to many backpackers hostel and this hostel has the worst back packing culture. They allow families to stay and also that too with backpackers in the dorm. It was such a downer. The property is nice. Dorm too but the solo travellers and backpackers find the vibe too dull because there kids and families running around the property. One of the staff was very rude. Overall not a nice place for backpackers.

We offer free Wi-Fi (up to 2GB per user per day). If you need more, additional data will be charged. Our café is open 24/7, so you’ll always have access to food and drinks. To keep things tidy, outside food and beverages are not allowed. We maintain a no-alcohol policy for the comfort and safety of all guests. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. All rooms, including dorms and private rooms, are strictly non-smoking. Please help us maintain a peaceful atmosphere by keeping noise levels low during silent hours (10:00 PM to 8:00 AM). Parking is limited, so if you’re bringing a vehicle, please contact us in advance. We appreciate your understanding that we cannot take responsibility for vehicle safety or belongings left inside. Pets are welcome in private rooms only (and not in dorms) at a small charge of INR 500 + GST per pet per day (one pet per room). We kindly ask pet owners to take full responsibility for their pets. Heaters are available on request for private rooms to keep things cozy. Dorms, however, do not include heaters. For your convenience, lockers are available. Please use them to store valuables, as we cannot be responsible for lost items. If you lose a locker key, a replacement fee of INR 500 + GST will apply. Many of our hostels use digital door locks that work with a smartphone app (iOS/Android). Please ensure you have a smartphone to access your room. We kindly ask guests to take care of hostel property. Any damages will be charged accordingly.
