Best service

We had a wonderful experience celebrating our child’s birthday at this beautiful hotel. The entire stay was filled with comfort, warmth, and memorable moments.
A special thanks to Nilesh for his exceptional hospitality and attentive service throughout our stay. We are also grateful to Jeet for ensuring we enjoyed delicious food and a seamless dining experience.
A heartfelt appreciation to Junior Bhavesh, who was incredibly caring and affectionate with our baby, making us feel completely at ease.
The team’s dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made our celebration truly special. Highly recommended for families looking for a memorable and comfortable stay. We look forward to visiting again!

Lost its charm

I first visited Sahara Star in 2008, and at the time it truly felt like a benchmark of success—grand, well-maintained, and reflective of what a premium hospitality experience should be. When I returned in 2017, it still managed to hold on to much of that charm and standard.
However, my recent stay has been deeply disappointing.
The property has clearly lost its edge. Basic expectations—cleanliness, hygiene, and room upkeep—are not being met. There were visible stains on the sideboards that could easily have been cleaned but were left unattended. Such oversights are not minor—they reflect a serious lapse in housekeeping standards. The room did not feel fresh or well-maintained, and several small but essential hygiene factors were simply ignored.
What’s more concerning is that these are not high-end expectations—these are fundamental requirements for any hotel, let alone one that once positioned itself as a luxury destination. When basics begin to fail, it significantly impacts guest comfort and trust.
It’s unfortunate to see a property with such a strong legacy decline to this extent. At its peak, Sahara Star symbolized excellence; today, it feels neglected and far from the standards it once upheld.
Unless there is a serious and immediate overhaul in management and maintenance, I would strongly advise travelers to reconsider staying here. At its current state, it feels like a poor value for money and an uncomfortable experience overall.

Arrogant and Obnoxious attitude of reception staff.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times and found it conveniently located for travel connection. My past experiences were good and hence I chose to stay here twice in month of May before and after our international travel. The first stay was comfortable. However although I had booked two rooms and paid for airport transfer in advance they provided only one car for 4 people and four bags. The back seat was not for 3 people and because we were getting late and it was short travel we travelled to airport in awkward position. We informed the driver that we were going to check in again on 22 May after landing and to make sure that 2 cars are sent for pick up. The hotel however sent one car only and even the driver accepted that it was a mistake and asked if he should call for another car. Again being at midnight we managed to travel in inconvenient seating arrangement. After reaching the hotel we got a shocker when we were asked to pay for airport pick up ( even though that pick up was clear deficiency of service without adequate seating). In spite of showing my voucher with airport pick up they refused to accept and told me we won't get room keys unless I pay for the airport transfer. I ahd no option but to pay. When I complained about the car not having adequate space, two ladies named Sakkshi and Marion made weird arguments that we had not mentioned that we will be travelling with any luggage. When you arrange for pick up on international airport don't you know that we will have luggage? Mind you we did not carry excess baggage. It was only one bag per person. I have not seen such arrogant and obnoxiously behaving reception staff in hundreds of my hotel stays. The story becomes more horrible. In the morning when we checked out we were told to pay again for airport transfers. When we argued they had to contact those obnoxious ladies who had left the duty without entering the charges paid. This hotel used to be good but with such horrible attitude of staff like Sakshi and Marion I will think hundred times before visiting again.

When I book hotel. Its sayed breakfast included, but when I check in they say breakfast not included in the price. That's disappointing me. That's looks to like scam to the customer. Is not clear properly in your message. Please clarify properly whether its included or not. When we already check in and at the end they said breakfast not include. That's very Very bad.
