A beautiful escape by the sea
We initially planned to stay at Manoribel for just one night, but we kept extending our stay—and after 3 wonderful nights, we finally checked out today! That itself says a lot about how amazing the experience was. ❤️
What a beautiful, breathtaking place! Our sea-facing cottage, surrounded by lush greenery and accompanied by the soothing sound of waves, was the perfect setting to relax, unwind, and simply enjoy the moment.
And the food—absolutely scrumptious! From breakfast to dinner, including the mid-day snacks, everything was delicious and seemed to get even better with every meal.
We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

Coastal Calm Escape - A perfect weekend by the waves
Our stay at a beachside resort near Manori Beach was truly beautiful and refreshing. Nestled close to the sea, our sea-facing cottage offered a calming view of the waves, making every moment feel peaceful and special. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well maintained. Everything inside was perfectly arranged and absolutely stunning, giving a very comfortable and cozy feel throughout our stay. The staff and the manager were incredibly helpful, always attentive and welcoming, which made the experience even more pleasant.
There is a lovely garden area that feels cozy and relaxing, and just outside the room, there is a perfect little space to sit, enjoy tea, and spend quality time with family. I visited with my husband, and those quiet moments together made the stay even more memorable. The resort also has an attached restaurant with a beautiful sea view. The food here is simple home-cooked style, yet delicious and healthy. We especially loved the tender coconut tempered bhaaji and the lemon meringue pie—both were unique and delightful. The locals around the area are very friendly, and commuting is easy as autos are available just a 2-minute walk from the resort gate. The housekeeping staff deserves a special mention—their effort in maintaining cleanliness in both the rooms and surroundings was truly commendable. Special mention to Paskin and Ammie (apologies if I’ve misspelled their names)—they were incredibly helpful and served us wonderfully throughout our stay. We also got to know about the owner of the property and their remarkable history, which created a deep sense of respect and admiration for this place. It added a meaningful touch to the overall experience. The resort even provides transport to the beach for those who wish to enjoy a proper beach bath, which is a thoughtful addition. Nearby, you can explore places like Gorai Beach, Velankanni Beach, several temples and churches, and the peaceful Global Vipassana Pagoda. Overall, I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the soothing sound of the sea along with the refreshing morning breeze. It was truly a memorable and blissful experience.

A quiet place, safe, metres from the beach. Staff was friendly and the restaurant served very nice food. The room was big and clean.

Good break
Had a very enjoyable relaxing peaceful and comfortable stay. I have been going to Manoribel Hotel over the last 40 years. I enjoy going back each time. The Manager Mr. Rocky Lobo and his wife Asha were excellent hosts and looked after us well and catered to our whims and fancies. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. The food was good and the kitchen staff provided us with anything we wanted. Am looking forward to my next visit.
