Worst Stay of my Life
Sinq Beach Morjim — one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
I have stayed at many hotels, but my experience at Sinq Beach Morjim was genuinely shocking and deeply disappointing. This was not just a bad stay — the overall condition of the property made me extremely uncomfortable and, at times, genuinely concerned about hygiene and safety.
The entire place had a negative, eerie atmosphere. Personally, I felt so uncomfortable there that the property actually gave me a “haunted” feeling. That may sound dramatic, but that was honestly how the place felt during my stay.
And then came the actual problems:
Approach road: Absolutely terrible and inconvenient. The first impression itself was disappointing.
Hygiene & maintenance: The condition of the room and fittings was nowhere close to what one would expect from a decent hotel.
Shower head: Heavily rusted and visibly unhygienic.
Fungus / dampness: Visible fungal growth and damp-looking patches in multiple areas.
Walls & ceiling: Cracks, stains and signs of poor maintenance were clearly visible.
Electric kettle: This was particularly disgusting — the kettle had foul-smelling liquid/residue inside it. I wouldn't even consider using it.
Room fixtures/furniture: Several things looked old, damaged, poorly maintained and simply neglected.
Food: Ridiculously disappointing. Definitely not what I expected from a hotel charging guests for a stay and meals.
Staff conduct: During my stay, I personally observed staff members drinking alcohol in another room, which added to my discomfort and concerns about the overall professionalism of the property.
Sense of safety: I simply did not feel safe or comfortable staying here.
The attached photographs speak for themselves — rusty fixtures, visible deterioration, cracks, dampness/fungal-looking patches, damaged fittings and an overall lack of proper upkeep.
What bothered me most is that these aren't minor cosmetic issues. Basic cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance and guest comfort should be non-negotiable in any hotel.
My honest recommendation: AVOID THIS PLACE.
If you are planning a Goa trip and looking for a comfortable, clean and safe place to stay, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere rather than taking a chance with Sinq Beach Morjim.
This review is based on my personal experience during my stay, and I am sharing it because I would not want another traveller to spend their hard-earned money and end up having the kind of experience I had.
One of the worst hotel stays I have experienced in my lifetime.

Horrible Experience due to RAVE Parties ( Mark my words you wont be able to sleep)
Rooms : Views from the rooms is 10/10 ( we booked sea view cottage) but they are very small. Small as you won't be able to open your luggage properly in the room. For charging sucha huge tariff what you get is a little small cottage.
We stayed in cottage no 101, so never book it as it has no privacy, all the stags in their open common jacuzzi will keep on looking at your cottage the whole day, so its like sitting on a shack with so many other people.
They provide salt water in the taps so you wont be able to gargle or bathe properly.
Food : The only one this which is very good is food. We tried veg options and all the great. Servers are also decent and well-mannered.
Swimming pool : Its for kids only.
I emailed them as well as sent a WhatsApp text to provide a more private room, but till now received no revert on that, my trip is over now.
Overall, if you will go on weekends, your trip will be spoiled due to rave parties being played in the adjacent shack. Many people took the refunds of their booking and checked out because of these parties. Atleast 7 check outs i witnessed who took their refund.

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs!
I booked Sinq Resort Goa online and one thing I’ve learned – never trust the online reviews for this place. This is hands down one of the worst resorts I’ve ever stayed in my life.
First of all, reaching the resort itself is a nightmare. The approach road is pathetic, broken, and feels like it hasn’t been maintained in years. To make things worse, there’s no proper front entry! You’re forced to enter through some shabby, shady looking backside entry that sets the tone for what’s to come. Honestly, it felt unsafe from the very first step.
Once inside, things get worse. The resort is poorly maintained, shabby, and looks completely neglected. Breakfast was absolutely terrible I wouldn’t even call it edible. And for this, they charge ₹8,000 per night! To trap you, they make sure you pay in advance so you can’t back out after seeing the reality.
The moment I saw the place, I told them I don’t want the room and asked for a refund but they flatly refused. I was practically forced to stay one night, and every minute confirmed that this place is nothing like what is shown online.
My advice: Don’t waste your money here. Goa has hundreds of better resorts at far better prices do yourself a favor and pick literally any other option. This place is a complete scam

Terrible Experience – Avoid SinQ for Family Stays
Their approach is careless and disrespectful—completely unfit for anyone traveling with family. Strongly advise against booking any SinQ property if you value your peace of mind.
