Lovely place to connect with nature !

We stopped here for a day with our pets and it was more than worth staying here.
It's a place just so beautiful and managed so beautifully by the owner.
It's pet friendly and my pets just loved it to bits. I wish we could stay more but would love to go there again .Next to a river , it's has a beautiful swimming pool and is surrounded by greenery and they have hen, ducks, goats and what not.
The staff needs a special praise for being so courteous and helpful

At one with nature

We stayed here as a close knit family group to celebrate the 80th birthday of our grandmom. Right from the beginning, the staff ensured that everything went off smoothly for the entire group. The check in was smooth and hassle free despite our so many rooms. The rooms themselves are large and airy with lots of natural light streaming in through the French windows. The bathrooms are clean. The food was succulent and there were loads of options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Loved the fact that they prepared local delicacies for every meal. The person managing the food was extremely helpful and attentive. The property itself is extremely beautiful and we really felt at one with nature. It is set right on the bank of the river and the entire area is wooded and full of lovely walks all around. Spotted some lovely birds. The kids had fun playing TT, foosball, archery, carrom and cricket. There is a nice little swimming pool as well. We had a bonfire every night and it was so cosy to sit around with everyone after dinner. We had plenty of old people in our family and the resort has an auto to ferry them around from the room to all the other areas so it was quite convenient for them. Overall a homely place and a perfect getaway for families with young kids or elders. Recommended!

Not worth the price.

Stayed with family for 2 nights.
Pros -
1. Property is next to the gurupura river and has a pretty big area.
2. Peaceful location
3. Many games available ( Badminton, Foosball, ludo, snakes and leaders, table tennis)
4. Swimming pool available
5. Have some emus and hens on the property which is interesting for kids.
Cons -
1. Rooms size quite small - even the luxury rooms were small for the price.
2. Maintenance - very poor. Broken tables, poor quality towels and linen.
3. Electrical maintenance - very poor. Our room had multiple short circuits after which we had to change our room
4. Food - multiple issues -
On the 1st morning, they said since very few guests were there, they will not serve buffet breakfast. After complaining to the manager, they did manage to serve but left a very bad impression.
The buffet breakfast on the the 2nd morning was of very limited variety for the price.
The dinner and lunch on weekends was only buffet. No Ala carte. This was not informed prior.
The taste of the food was just decent not great. The dinner buffet was super spicy.
5. Location - very far from the citybwith a narrow and steep access road. Could be considered both a pro and a con.

Excellent experience, exceptional service!

We had a wonderful family get-together with 23 people from 5 to 80 years old at River Roost Resort. The communication at the time of planning and arrangements during the stay, were managed very smoothly and efficiently by the hospitality team Sajda and Priyanka. The food was delicious, b'fast, lunch and dinner buffets were enjoyed by everyone, thank you so much Suresh and Hassan.
Some things to note-
1. It is tucked away besides a river in a quiet place away from the main city, very scenic.
2. The grounds are very pretty and vast. There is a short walk from the rooms to the dining area alongside the river, but they have a buggy to transport anyone who may need the assistance.
4. There are lots of fun activities and games for children, so they will be happily occupied
5. The bonfire area is lovely for after dinner gatherings.
6. There are day trippers at the pool area which is right next to the dining area, so be prepared for some noise during the day if a big group shows up.
Would definitely recommend this resort, especially for family get-togethers and events. The facilities were good and service was great - they accommodated so many of our small requests with a smile.

Perfect Getaway At River Roost

I visited River Roost yesterday and it was too good! The rooms were clean and luxurious. The entire place had such a peaceful vibe. The team there was absolutely amazing. They were welcoming, quick and kind! Unlike other resorts, they didn’t interrupt our fun time with rules, which made the whole experience so much better. And the food! The buffet was perfectly organized, with a great variety that catered to everyone’s taste preferences. The maintenance was top-notch too. Everything was so well taken care of. Overall, such a beautiful experience.
Coming again soon!
