Wonderful staycation @ Usha Resort, Palghar

I needed a break from City life, so a few friends and I, rode North to the Usha Resort at Palghar.
We booked two pool-side rooms which were clean and cosy. Entire property was lush green, cool and peaceful . The Property also had a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor sports activities, gardens, children's play park and a multi-cuisine restaurant. The food was tasty and homely. Transport facility was also available for Kelva and Mahim beach located nearby. The service was good and especially the Owners were very accommodating.
Usha Resort is definitely a great place for staycations and outdoor events!
I highly recommend this place.

Very Bad experience and waste of money

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite paying for a full day, I was told to vacate the room before 9 PM, which is completely unfair and misleading.
The hospitality was poor and unprofessional. There was no clear communication about the stay duration at the time of booking, and the staff behavior made the experience even worse.
Overall, it felt like a waste of money. I would strongly recommend others not to waste their money here and consider better options.

Get the rate offerred by GoIbibo not the rate directly from the hotel

Food was very good and ample. The lady cook who makes it conversed with us in a very homelike way. The Manager Anilkumar was also very attentive and helpful. When rating the place I am positioning it as a resort in a relatively remote place for middle class families and it met most of the criteria for providing a good satisfying experience to this segment.
Where I have a problem is with the booking people who were talking with me and unknown to me were based in Mumbai. Unfortunately initially at the time of my making the booking the Goibibo deal was not being shown so I booked directly. Goibibo began to show later and I was quite disturbed to find a big difference in the rates meaning the Goibibo rate was 2.5 times less than the direct rate. When I asked this to the booking people, they said the rates I got was for a deluxe room with meals during weekend (which they dont take through Go Ibibo). we were the only guests in the hotel that night. The rate we paid is frankly about 30% overpriced in my personal opinion for this hotel and I would not not go there again at this rate.
The gardens and greenery in the resort are pleasnt and we enjoyed the food sitting out in the covered resaturant with the monsoon rain rattling down outside.
So while I would normally give 3.5 or 4 stars to this place, I am reducing it to 3

Amazing

After reading that one review from Puja, was reluctant to take my office team for an one night outing. But it was just satisfying experience, good food enough for all, also rooms were clean, service is good. The place has everything from pool to gardens and ground to play. An overall three star quality service.

Bad Experience

We are frequent visitors of resorts in and around Mumbai. We visited Usha resort on receiving good scenic pictures from the owner on Watsup. We visited here on a weekdays in order to avoid rush, however to our surprise it was a lonely place, and was nothing like the pictures. Rooms are pathetic. Food quantity provided is not even enough for single person per plate and pricing is done as if you are visiting a 3 or 4 star resort. We will not recommend anyone to go to Usha resort.
