Adventure + Serenity = Belantara

I came here with friends and didn’t expect to enjoy adventure and total peace in one place. One day, we went scuba diving and kayaking, and the next day, we just relaxed by the sea with music and great food.
Some evening entertainment, like live acoustic music or outdoor movie nights, would add a nice touch.

Hidden Paradise near Goa

We came here after a few crowded days in Goa and couldn't believe the contrast. Belantara was calm, clean, and beautifully curated. The beach is practically private. The food was local, delicious, and served with a personal touch.
Suggestion: A small spa or massage hut would elevate the wellness experience even more!

A Serene Escape: My Memorable Stay at Belantara Beachfront

Belantara Beachfront, a beautiful beach resort, truly lives up to its name—it evokes images of nature and serenity.
I visited this gem in January 2024 with my colleagues and was captivated by its lush greenery and peaceful surroundings. This was my first experience at a beach resort in Sindhudurg District, and I’m so glad I discovered this perfect spot for a quiet escape.
The time spent here was refreshing. I enjoyed some quality "me time," played cricket, and savored delicious, home-style malwani meals. The resort staff was incredibly cooperative and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. Each room had a beachfront view, allowing us to relax to the sound of waves—a beautiful way to reconnect with nature.
Belantara left such a lasting impression that I plan to visit this beautiful place in Sindhudurg each year, bringing more people along to connect with its serene charm. Thanks!

Not a private beach

Belantara Beachfront at Pagere Wadi Beach was a terrible experience. The owner falsely advertises it as a private beach and restricts the local villagers from accessing it, despite the land being rented. The staff's behavior was incredibly rude, particularly towards the locals. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. Avoid this place if you value respect and decency.

"Belantara Beach is the epitome of disappointment. With no corporate backing, it's a free-for-all controlled by villagers who have no interest in providing a positive experience for visitors. Privacy? Forget about it. Save your time and money for a beach that actually values your patronage."
