Good Place to stay near to Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple

Neet, Clean and friendly staff.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Madurai, making it easy to access key attractions like Meenakshi Amman Temple and the bustling local markets. The railway station and bus stand are also nearby, which is a huge plus for travelers.The rooms are decently maintained and renovated.The hotel staff is polite, friendly, and helpful. Room service was quick, and they were attentive to any requests. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, with no major delays.

Wouldn't recommend staying here ...

The Padman Hotel is very run down - especially the bathroom. It was very unclean to put it mildly. The photographs are very misleading. .
The front rooms overlooking the square are incredibly noisy - you'll need earplugs!
But it's a a good location, not far from the main temple and railway station, and it's not expensive.
Some work was taking place while we were staying so it may improve in time.

Pathetic and non cooperative

I have booked this hotel via Agoda.com (booking confirmed) but person at reception didn’t provide us room saying I didn’t get the booking. Giving us no options but to look for other hotel at odd time. My parents, kids were there too but this guy was rude, arrogant etc. So, I would not advise for this hotel to anyone.

Poor Facilities

Poor room space and no hygiene and no proper drinking water facility.
Out rated hotel and no food facilities nothing is there.
Would not recommend to anyone coming from outside. No space also and TV is not working.
