Fast, budget, affordable

Excellent modest housing downtown. 5 minutes walk from Minkshi Amman Temple.
No complaints about the rooms. Cozy, clean, give you a towel and bath amenities. Clean bathroom. The rooms are air conditioned.
We arrived early this morning. We were allowed to use the bathroom and clean up. We were also moved in earlier, around 10:30 without any extras.
I think it's a very good and inexpensive place.

What a terrible place!

Extremely bad and small room. Room pictures misleading.
No common area. Nowhere to sit.
The phrase "de luxe room" is a joke.
No window in the room. Just a slide opening to a shaft.
Noisy in the hallway during night.
No cleaning during the three nights we stayed there.
Rude reception. No interaction at all or any kind conversation.
Promised to book an airport taxi on our departure, but didn't do it and didn't notify us
Normally we are not concerned about hotel comforts, but this place is rock bottom.
All in all a bad experience.

Excellent value: no catering

Great value at Mani’s. Decent sized rooms and beds all clean and comfortable with 3* facilities at a 2* star price. Convenient the main temple just about 10 minutes walk away. No catering but ample choice of eateries locally albeit few with English spoken.

Good location. Very good quality. There's better to find

Good location. Walking distance to railway station. Within walking distance of Periyar bus station. Half an hour to Meenakshi temple. Small room. Harder mattress. Few usable sockets. Squat bathroom 2 steps high. No fresh smell in room.

Good hotel to stay at madurai.

Good hotel to stay at madurai, it is nearer to Meenakshi Devi temple. It is newly renovated. Every thing is new. They provide only lodging. Though various restaurant is nearby the hotel. Owner mr. Narayanan kannan is very good person. They have own car. Thus they provide cheapest rate .
