Ok sort of hotel in Kudal

I visited Kudal for leisure and wildlife photography and booked executive suite with breakfast package at this hotel. I was expecting a nice view for the executive suite room which was not the case and the view was pathetic. Room was clean and well maintained. Toilet was also clean and hygienic. Toilet was very poorly lit with hardly any light for shaving. There was only 1 warm light instead of bright white light. Shower gel and shampoo was of poor quality. Also there was no shower gel in the bathroom on the first day. Food was good but over priced. Even the local fish like Chonak was around Rs.500 for 2 small pieces. Being a Marathi person owned hotel there were no Marathi snacks like batata wada, misal, bhaji on the menu. Every day for all 3 days I stayed over there breakfast items were same which is Poha, Amboli & bread omelette. which was boring even though food quality was good. Mattress was soft which caused severe back and waist pain for me everyday morning after waking up. Lot of dust was around the outside of room and floor. I also saw a snail crawling on the wall of my room. Over all a good place but need more attention, menu variety and cleanliness

Below average service and hotel

While the hotel was below average the food was somewhat good but the service leaves a lot to be desired.
I stayed here overnight last week, had dinner here and again visited a week later on the way back. The experience was similar. They will serve you proactively only if it is a large group or if you order drinks. Everyone else seems secondary. I might not likely visit again.

Outstanding customer service

Outstanding customer service and would recommend again and again. They went way over any expectations I had to help celebrate a friends bday. Spoke to them about a cake and dinner plans, and even as plans kept shifting they let me know the cake would be ready by a certain time regardless of our plans.

Great family hotel

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights . It was really a great experience . The food was delicious- we tried the tandoori chicken platter - the quality was great and service was also really good . They also helped to prepare food without any chillies for kids .... We had booked an executive suite and family suite. All the fascilities were upto mark with 24 hrs hot water , food room service was available on call . It's a great place to stay with family. We will definitely recommend this place

"Second visit, a very poor experience "

Last year when I stayed at Lemon grass in January 2021 it was a wonderful experience in terms of stay and food.
This year in February 2022 it was my second stay at this property. This visit was a terrible experience. Upon arrival at the hotel I had checked in room no 209. Had lunch ordered in restaurant a fish curry and rice. The curry was was stale and had a terrible coconut oil stench, on bringing to the notice of waiter it was replaced with another pathetic curry. Extra items (roti) added in the bill which were ever ordered. My colleagues arrived in evening, during dinner all the food served were cold. Morning breakfast not much options, and that too you have to personally go to kitchen to order'. All the staff waiters, are non - attentive and careless. Later we learnt that the earlier management has changed and someone else has overtaken, but inefficient in all aspects.
Will lookout for something better next time..
