Nice local hotel.

The Elegance is a nice clean hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room we had facing the road was nice. Breakfast could be improved a little bit. The restaurant down stairs has good food. For a tourist wanting to spend time in downtown Kolkata its a 15 to 20 taxi ride.

Too small. 4 doors to rooms in a one square metre area.

Small rooms. Noisy staff. Nice location. That's about it. Too expensive. Staff try to act like salesmen towards foreigners to sell a room. I found one in a better location that was 500 rupees cheaper PER NIGHT.

Small Room & Poor Facilities

We stayed at this hotel recently when we came to calcutta to attend a family wedding. We were surprised that we were not offered room keys. Additionally they also refused to give us access to lockers, saying that they don't offer lockers anymore to guest.
The AC would take really long to cool and toilets were vey small. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Very Excellent Service and Coperation

I stayed at this hotel for two days.The room which was given to me very good.
Room was big and well decorated.Ac,wi-fi and t.v were working properly.Even
every staff was very help full.I am thankful To Akram(at the front office) who helped
me lots.Even i got late check out but did not charge any extra amount for it.Food was
really good.After all i am satisfied with this hotel service.............

good service with very kind nature of staff.

i would like to mention one thing that apart from the booking schedule they allowed me to checkin before 3 hours from the schedule checkin. nice room service. nice assistance by Mr. Akram thanks for his co-operation.
