An unforgettable stay amidst nature!
Staying at SpiceTree Munnar felt like living in the middle of a beautiful forest. Waking up to the sounds of birds, surrounded by lush greenery and mist was an experience we'll always cherish. The peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect escape from city life.
The hospitality was exceptional. A special thanks to Mr. Ratheesh, the manager, who ensured our stay was smooth and memorable. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to every detail made us feel truly welcome.
We'd also like to thank Alex from the dining team. His friendly nature, attentive service, and genuine care made every meal even more enjoyable.
The resort is beautifully maintained, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and every corner blends seamlessly with nature. It genuinely feels like you're living in a forest—but with all the comforts of a luxury resort.

A perfect escape
Our stay was truly wonderful from start to finish. The property is exceptionally clean and hygienic, with breathtaking views, a beautiful pool, and a superb jacuzzi that made our stay even more relaxing.
The buffet breakfast was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtfully curated experiences, especially the tea tasting and the hike to Muniyara Peak.
A special mention to Rathilesh, whose warm hospitality and attentive service made all the difference. He took great care of us throughout our stay and guided us on the hike to the nearby Muniyara Peak, making the experience both enjoyable and memorable.
Overall, an unforgettable experience. We would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

In the Lap of Nature!
Spicetree Munnar was an ethereal experience. We timed the visit with the advent of monsoon and boy did the plan work!! The village roads are aesthetic, muddy and not cemented which is ideal to maintain the ecological balance of the ecologically sensitive environment in which this resort is based. I would request this resort to never change anything in and around the space that would hurt the ecological balance of the place. The entire resort was covered with mist and fog and the smells of nature..the misty valley, the smell of first rain. We smelled the color green for the first time. The experience of getting up at 5.30 am and having a cup of tea in the balcony while the clouds float around you with the sounds of nature for background is the stuff of dreams that you get to experience in this beautiful property.As a malayalee born and brought up outside Kerala it was a pleasant surprise to hear Ramayana recital from the village below at 5.30 am which was the most divine experience for us. Why would you even need a TV in a place like this is something that puzzles me. Yoga session with Ajit was refreshing. That followed by a calm and quiet walk around the property made our morning. This was followed by the healthiest breakfast one can have. Ash gourd juice, cantaloupe juice, watermelon juice, a spread of the most freshest fruits. Then of course they had their regulars. The most scrumptious sambar with so many veg pieces in it. Thick chutneys. The spread was that of the most delicious food options. The dedication of the executives to make you as comfortable as possible is the best part of the experience. It was the best two nights in the lap of nature. The sounds and smells of the village around the resort gives you an authentic experience of being in Kerala. We walked and trekked on our own as the trekking sponsored by the resort was closed due to the downpour. We walked up and down the mud trail and experienced the smells and sights of monsoon first hands. Best experience ever.

A fantastic experience
Very well mainteained property, very polite and courteous staff. Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the stay. The food served was quite delicious. The thing I liked the most is to preorder the food at least an hour before you go to the restaurent to avoid waiting for it.

Great Property; Great Dining; Great Service
We enjoyed this terrific property with outstanding views. We loved our room overlooking the valley--except, it is a long way from the main building and restaurant over somewhat difficult steps at night and in the rain. Not much one can do about the location of the better rooms but, for other folks, a request to stay in rooms closer to the main building should be considered.
The food was terrific and we had a dining room in our room--the staff served our dinners course by course which was a great experience.
The infinity pool in our room overlooking the valley was perfect. We enjoyed it after a long day of sight seeing.
I highly recommend this property.
