Disgusting over priced food and run down accomodation

On the 7th Sept 2025 I visited Firefly resort with my husband and his family. We booked a family room and 2 standard rooms. The photos sent prior to booking were impressive. However on arrival it was clear Firefly is not a 4* report at all as advertised. I come from the UK and was very excited about this trip. When we arrived at our room all I can say all we experience was disappointment. One towel per room, there were 7 of us in total. The family room should have been provided with 3 towels and also 2 beds not just one double. The water was freezing in all the rooms despite a heater switch behind the TV there was no hot water. Dirty marks on all the walls too.
The food bill was 7,000 rupees including veg fingers and fish finger deep fried snacks the first eve and also breakfast which was disgusting.
The only positive point to make is that the staff were very friendly and were helpful.
This resort is only a 2 * so please do not be misled by the rating. It was very embarrassing taking my husbands family to such a run down place. I will never be going there again.
False advertising the place is a dump......
