Small but good hotel

Hotel is quite inside, but easily accessible. Just behind The Famous shop of SUBASH DRY FRUITS. Staff is good. rooms are good. i good hotel in budget category. i came with my friends, but for family too its a good hotel.

VAISHNO DEVI TRIP

We had chosen this hotel mainly due to its location in the main market. It is also very near to Banganga. Also the Staff was courteous and was nice enough to allot us a room on our arrival.
But the hotel did not live up our expectations. specially one factor irritated us. We had gone by train and reached 5.30 am to the hotel, and there was no HOT WATER and we had to bath in COLD water. Hope they improve their BOILER capacity to accommodate more guests

good experience

we check in this hotel on 6th Dec only for 6 hours, we noticed that staff was courteous, property is old. but the main charm of this property is its location. I give 10/10 to its location. although room was so-so but still recommended. I book this property with a cheep deal with one of the website otherwise the rate offered by hotel front desk is high. you can find some other good property at this price.
finally I recommend that you should bye this property if you get discount around 50% otherwise you can try other property.

A case of cheating

At the time of booking we were told that the room which usually costs Rs 5000+ will be given to us for around Rs 1100 as some sort of discount was being provided by the hotel for today . The photographs shown were of a different hotel viz. Subhash International Hotel which is different from Subhash Hotel What we ended up with was a lodge like accomodation in Subhash Hotel which inside a narrow byelane . Disappointed with the location and poor interior of the rooms which were shown to us we refused to put up in a hotel(sic) like this and instead checked in a different hotel . We had booked two rooms in the same hotel in two other names of our guests who had come to Katra from the US. We advised them to leave the hotel immediately and were thankful that they had not made any advance payment.
In short we felt cheated.

Dear Mr Prem it's good when people review us. But it's not good to write just for the sake of writing, as you have written all lie.
I want to clear this to everyone who are reading this review, that when Mr Prem had called us about the price for room at Hotel Subash for there stay,
Mr Prem didn't mentioned that he was looking at the pics and rates of other Hotel.
And we never said that room of ₹5000+ taxes shall be given at ₹1100.
What kind do discount is that.
We are into Hotel Industry from last 30 years. We don't do such things Mr Prem.
We have guests coming regularly to our Hotel Subash from past so many years.
And Mr Prem will you share with us that in which Hotel you stayed during your visit and the price you paid. So that at least we should come to know that what category where you looking for.
Instead of calling us cheat, you are the wrong person here, and you are the one who should be called cheat for writing all lie.
We assure everyone that if you are looking for budget Hotel in Katra, Hotel Subash is the best choice, that too in the main market of Katra. Please do visit us and you will leave from here with loving memories and very comfortable stay.

Decent and pricey hotel centrally located

We stayed for one night in their 4 bed family room. The hotel and staff are decent and look professional. The room was clean though pricey. If you don't know where to stay and want to book it before you arrive, go for it.
