A gem in Goa
It’s incredible that this exquisite wonderfully managed gem of a small 8 cottage little hotel set right on Talpona beach isn’t overwhelmed with visitors. Lucky for us but sad for them. Why do we love Bluemoon by Neelchand ? Let me list the reasons. First, location: Talpona beach - while the rest of Goa’s beaches suffer from hordes of visitors, clutter, dreadful beach cafes, noise, dirt, throbbing music, hustlers of many and various types, Talpona through some miracle remains clear clean nearly empty. It’s the way it was: the way we hope it might be.
Secondly, the hotel itself: eight little cottages on the beach set around a green oasis of garden centred on a delightful restaurant/bar. This is home.
Finally, management : the delightful smiling helpful charming owner is Schubert who has composed something exquisite here: a symphony of calm competence efficiency and friendliness. The food is great, the cottages are delightful and air conditioned, the water hot, the beds luxurious. The situation incredible, world class.

Perfection ♥️
Well where do we begin on just how absolutely wonderful this little slice of heaven is!! Mainly due to the attentiveness & outstanding hospitality from Schubert, best manager in the business, Pawan & all the staff. We originally booked 6 nights here but ended up staying 10! We just couldn’t leave this idillic place. Schubert & everyone maintain the resort perfectly & nothing is too much trouble - the whole place just gives an aura of peace & relaxation. My partners bag didn’t make it on the flight from Delhi which he was quite stressed about however Schubert took care of literally everything and even got the bag collected & delivered to us the following day. We couldn’t believe it - outstanding! That’s just one example of numerous things that had us blown away. Highly recommend Neelchand ! Thank you Schubert and the team and we’ll see you January 2026!! Wonderful Experience
We stayed for 6 nights, absolutely fabulous time. The huts are well maintained and the team looked after us incredibly well. The location is truly magical. The manager, Schubert deserves a special mention as he pulls it all together. He has a keen eye for detail, ensures everything runs like clockwork and anticipates as well as understands what you need for a great stay! 5 stars without doubt. This is our second stay and we will be back for sure!!

Perfect place for a vacation
We came to Goa for a family vacation, we were so lucky to hear about Talpon beach and reach Neelchand ✨
What an amazing time, great service, variety delicious menu, beautifull clean rooms facing the ocean️
Most carring stuff who felt like family to us Schubert the manager make sure will have everything we needed always with a smile his wife Nadia makes the best cheese cake dont miss out!

A little slice of heaven
There is nothing I can say about this place that isn't wonderful . Small boutique , simple luxury. The beds are incredibly comfortable with proper mosquito nets using for poster to create space . Soft cotton bedding . You have the choice of fan or AC which is great as I don't personally like AC. Great bathrooms and the hot water is heated using solar panels . They are very eco aware reducing the use of plastics as well as solar energy. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble . Being right on the beach it's glorious to fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing or lapping on the beach. I was one of the first guests for their soft opening and really enjoyed spending time on they'd small but lovely restaurant . Breakfast ? Lunch and dinner are available and clearly the food is prepared with love and care. Then gave a gear selection of drinks my favourite being a good gin and tonic whilst reading my book . They are incredibly dog friendly and as a silo traveller with my rescue dog couldn't be more grateful for their kindness. The manager Schubert is a legend and Maura every effort to cater to any special requests you may have. Excellent launder service available from a local family so then also support local small business too. I willl be returning during high season too . Excellent value for money as well .
