:: Great Hotel and Service ::

I was on a business trip to Jamnagar and booked this hotel online from London, the booking process was acknowledged straight away by the Manager Mr. Vivek Punjani who also assured me a courtesy car will be available to pick me up from the airport on my arrival. Check in process was very fast and I was offered an ice cold drink whilst I was waiting for the porter to take my luggage to my room. The room was very spacious and very clean too with fully working air conditioner and mosquito repellent. I was offered a room service for food as the restaurant was about to close after the lunch hours. I found the food was to my taste and very delicious. The hotel is located in the heart of Jamnagar (New Supermarket area). You will find all kinds of shops here and the people are very friendly too. I was offered an AC adaptor to convert my UK plug to the Indian one and FREE WIFI.
Overall, I found the hotel staff very friendly and very helpful and attended to all my requests. Mr. Vivek Punjani (Manager) was again really helpful and helped me with all my query and also arranged a free transport back to the airport. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend anyone visiting Jamnagar to stay ay The Ashiana.

Budget Hotel

I am not sure about AC rooms, but NON AC rooms are very averagely / poorly maintained.
Rooms - Just Ok for night stay. Fixtures & furniture were very old. Spider web, mosquito inside. Broken wall, Non functional TV, hanging wires.
Location - Centrally located. Basically its inside the super market. Stairs are full of tobacco stain. Use Lift.
Rate - Economically priced. Good for night stay without any frills.

Value for money

The 4 stars in my review are not to be confused with 4-star hotel rating. This hotel gets 4 stars as it is the perfect budget hotel. It is centrally located in the city, reasonably priced and surprisingly well furnished. What I liked best was the courteous nature of the hotel management and staff. Definitely recommended!!

Really really lovely staff and atmosphere

Just to manage expectations, the rooms aren't great but the staff are all lovely warm and generous. They helped book bus tickets for me and dropped me to the station as it was in the middle of the night. I also got help withdrawing money during the currency problems and when I told them about the mosquitoes in my room they immediately sprayed repellent. Highly recommended.

Un Satisfactory experience

The room was without functioning geyser & had mosquitoes all over. The AC was creaking and wasnt maintained. The main switch was controlled by the reception and was shut down. The lift for 3rd floor was too cramped for 03 people. No good restaurants nearby. The hotel room service menu had 50 things printed on it but had only few to serve. Single cup of tea was charged Rs. 22/- The passage from main road to teh hotel building was cramped with 2 wheeler parking. My mom a senior citizen face dtrouble walking through due to up down movements of 2 wheedlers in passage area to teh hotel building.
