Good place
Hotel adarsh is good place if you want a good place for a affordable price...the place is more than average and you will find many types of food and dessert items....if you want to stay for a day or two...its perfect

Fair enough.
Pros: 1. Bang opposite Gate no. 2 of the railway station. So you can just walkup. 2. Good and hygienic restaurant syle food for fair prices
Cons : 1. The sound of railway station might bother you. 2. The staff doesn't understand being less noisy in the lobby and can be overwhelming if you need to rest in the day 3. The staff is used to trying to open the door if you don't open within 2 seconds of their knock. 4. Expect budget level maintenance 5. My room 213 has a window AC , that I can switch in off, can't control temperature. 6. Hot water in taps only from 5to 11 am. Would supply in bucket on request. 7. Very courteous gentleman at the reception
Deal: got a standard room for INR 1600 tax incl. Single occupancy. I landed at the hotel and booked offline after checking the room. Doesn't include water bottles or breakfast. The reception manager agreed to my request for 24 hrs check in out, vis a vis 11, am checkout.
Note : Strangely the hotel doesnt show on Google maps.

Beyond Our Expectations
After arriving off the night train with our two youngest sons and no hotel booked, after being turned away from 4 other hotels (including one that initially claimed to have rooms for us!), we were so happy that this hotel had 2 rooms for us. It was actually where I had planned to try to get a room so I was happy that they had availability.
Our rooms were so much nicer than what I was expecting. We probably paid more than is normal (3200 rupees for 2 rooms) but after being turned away 4 times already and it being after 11pm, we were just happy to have someplace to sleep.
No complaints with the room other than noise from loudspeakers and whatever else was going on all night outside but the hotel can't control that.
We had to catch an early bus to Sunauli in the morning and we asked one of the employees to go down with us to help us find the correct government bus. Not only did he arrange a rickshaw to carry all of us and our mass quantity of luggage but he got us on the correct bus and received a very nice tip in exchange.
The hotel is right across from the train station and is very easy to spot with its large sign. They offer room service, have free Wi-Fi and the staff were all very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

Good Place
I stayed here on April 2019. Very good place. All comforts were there including AC. Food very good. Service too. Wort more than you pay. Excellent location.
I wonder why bad comments are here. According to the day I visit, this is a very good place to an average traveler.
