Cedar Inn - Therapeutic
Our recent stay at Cedar Inn, Darjeeling was nothing short of magical.
The views are stunning and the ambiance is elegant.
The highlight of the property is the outstanding staff that left a lasting impression. A special, heartfelt mention goes to the General Manager, Mr. Sanjay, who make you feel warm and heard.
Our stewardess, Pratibha, was hands on and her service with a smile elevated our meal experience. We also cannot forget Mr David’s soulful piano recital that was so captivating. Would also like to appreciate the house keeping staff, the security and the efficient drivers who were beyond words.
Thank you, Cedar Inn team, for turning our stay into a memorable experience. We cannot wait to return to this enchanting abode of peace and tranquility ❤️
Ps: The traffic situation in Darjeeling is a nightmare but coming back to this peaceful abode took all our cares and tiredness away.

Super relaxing..with nature at its best
Beaytiful location ..we saw breath takeing view of mountains ..first thing in the morning from our bed.sanjayji nagria made this stay so soecial with his warm hospitality. He is very humble .caring n calm.we will definitely recommend cedar inn to friends n family

A place where you connect to self !
I recently stayed at Cedar Inn, Darjeeling with my son and parents and it was truly one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had in the Himalayas. From the moment you step in, you feel the warmth and intention behind everything.
The highlight? The spectacular view from our room — absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to this panoramic sight of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks glowing in the golden sunrise light, with layers of mist rolling through the valleys below, was pure magic. The attached photos barely do justice to the real thing. The foreground with lush greenery and traditional rooftops frames the mountains perfectly — it felt like we had a private viewing deck to one of nature’s greatest shows.
What truly set Cedar Inn apart, however, was the personalized hospitality. The service went way beyond expectations — attentive, warm, and genuinely caring. Every staff member made us feel like family. I later learned this comes directly from the owner (a monk), whose beautiful philosophy guides the entire team: “Whoever walks in through the main door has some karmic relation with us — so give them your best.”
You can feel that philosophy in every interaction. It creates an atmosphere that’s not just professional, but deeply heartfelt. The thoughtfulness, the little touches, and the way guests are treated with such respect and care — it’s rare and special.
If you’re planning a trip to Darjeeling and want a place that offers both jaw-dropping views and soul-warming hospitality, look no further than Cedar Inn. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back! ❤️️

Bliss in the hills
Located at a quiet serene hill .. the best place to unwind and relax. Though a little away from the popular mall .. the hotel provides pick up and drop service to mall for their guests .
The hotel is very well maintained with warm clean rooms , spacious lobby and well maintained garden. Rooms have uninterrupted view of Kanchenjunga when there is a clear sky.
The staff are always with a smiling face … ready to assist and accommodate their guests and their odd requests.
Special thanks to Mr Nangia for always making our visit a memorable one..

The buffet offered an excellent variety of fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented dishes, catering to both Indian and continental tastes. We opted for Ala carte. Every item was prepared with great care, and the quality, freshness, and flavors exceeded our expectations.
What made the experience truly exceptional was the remarkable hospitality of the restaurant team. A special thanks to Dipen Mukhia, whose warm welcome, professionalism, and attention to every guest created a wonderful dining atmosphere. Rabin provided attentive and courteous service with a genuine smile, ensuring that every request was handled promptly. Arjun Thapa was incredibly efficient, polite, and dedicated to making our breakfast experience seamless. Pratibha impressed us with her kindness, cheerful attitude, and thoughtful care, making us feel completely at home.
