A enjoyable family trip and a fabulous stay at Sreedevi

The location is right in the center of T. Nagar, just behind the Pondy Bazaar shopping lane, nestled in a quiet street. We loved the apartments, which felt like a home. They were kept clean and spotless. The bathrooms had recently been renovated and looked brand new. The pricing was very reasonable, offering great value for money. We enjoyed delicious, home-cooked breakfast served hot to our in-room dining area. Overall, it was a pleasant and wonderful stay at Sree Devi. The kids especially enjoyed the property and the outdoor pond that was set up.

Bad dog!

Nice place with a big problem: My husband and another guest were both attacked by the manager's dog within a couple of days, out of the blue and unprovoked. Dog was not removed from the premises, nor was he tied up all the time as promised. Barked a lot. Fortunately the attacked guests were not injured because they were wearing strong pants when the dog grabbed their legs with his teeth; but husband was knocked to the ground. Frightening.

Bad experience with Sreedevi Residency, Sundaram Street, T.nagar, Chennai

We have been staying in Sreedevi Residency, Sundaram Street,T.nagar for the past 5 years while we visit Chennai. The location is fabulous. The staff are helpful and friendly.It's always tricky regarding breakfast. No one knows whether they prepare all of the breakfast items or some of them only.
The quality of apartments are ok, but they do poor maintenance. AC always leaks. Atleast one light in each of the rooms blinks. Electric wires are insulated, but hang out of the socket, which's a safety issue. We also experienced minor electric shocks from bathroom taps and water, which's completely unacceptable. Very dangerous for children in that environment.
The management offered a cloak service by keeping my extra luggages and couriers free of cost until we left for interstates for 3 weeks. A day before our arrival, they sent me a message indicating that they would charge Rs.1000/day for 21 days for their cloak services, which was appalling and misleading customers. Bala Venkat and Saravan played tricks and gave us stress prior to our departure. Their poor communication and foxy attitudes led to loss of money and trust in them. Both failed to waive the charges except for reducing a bit. Both Bala and Saravanan showed no empathy or emotional intelligence regarding this matter.
My family and I had a very bad experience this time.

OKAY !!!!

The property we stayed was in Nungambakkam. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Kitchen not self sufficient. Fridge and Washing machined not maintained. Smelly. Boys were good and helpful. But the Manager took us for a ride. He changed the rates while settling the bill. He changed my enquiry for one extra room into a booking and charged me a full apartment. He had called me to confirm my enquiry and I had clearly told him that I dont need the room but still he charged me and argued for the same. Would not recommend any woman to stay there alone. Does not seem to be safe.

Charming welcome

We were here for many days but we used to think that we known each other for years. Masterjee bhaiya ka food was superb n the other cleaning boys also were so kind, they never say NO
Mr Bala the owner of Sree Ddvi residency is a very kind hearted person we never expect him to be so helpful to us after an unfortunate incident happened to us. We lived there like in a palace among family.
Thank u n no regret
We will come back soon no doubt
