Lovely stay at Royal Residency Khajjiar

We had seen some pics of Hotel Royal Residency Khajjiar on Facebook and Instagram. The place looked so beautiful that we decided to pay a visit. It was the best decision we took. The hotel Royal Residency is located just walking distance from the lovely Khajjiar ground. The beauty that surrounds is just amazing. The hotel itself is very well designed with spacious rooms and a open gallery on each floor. The gallery overlooks the snow clad mountains and the view is beautiful beyond imagination.
The staff is very helpful and the food is just awesome. All safety measures were followed by the hotel like using masks and sanitising. We felt very safe.
Hot water was available 24 hours and adequate blankets were provided.
We had planned to spend 2 nights and then move to Dalhousie. But we were enjoying our stay and the hospitality so much that we extended our stay and just visited Dalhousie for a day.
It was really a memorable and one of the best trips we have had so far.

Stay in Khajiar. This place is one of the best here

I should have stayed all nights at Khajjiar instead of Dalhousie. You can avoid all traffic jam and crowd in Dalhousie. This hotel is located in a serene atmosphere without any noise. It is inside the main campus of the Kalatop Sanctuary area but the actual sanctuary is still long drive away. You will really enjoy the isolation from the hustle and bustle of cities or even towns.
The rooms were very clean and the view from the room to the valley is stunning. Khajjiar lake is walkable from here. They can surely improve the cleanliness in the their bathrooms. The water heaters work for 24 hours. Their buffet dinner and buffer breakfast was very good with nice variety. All staff were very friendly.
I drove from Chamba town to here (22 km) in 40 min, Khajjiar lake is 5 min drive. Kalatop is also not very far as is Daikmund peak. In my opinion, this place is central to all these locations.
