Good stay and would go back
Side sea view for 5 nights
Positives
• Clean, well maintained rooms with good balcony for people watching. Bed was enormous, with a good size wardrobe to keep things tidy
• The side sea view actually has a decent sea view, and overlooks the restaurant.
• Good spot at the slightly busier south end of Agonda beach
• Good quantity of sun beds with towels just on the beach.
• Shower on beach to wash off after swimming
• Plenty of seats and tables in the restaurant to suit your mood. Sea view, or sat back back over looking the restaurant.
• Attentive and friendly staff. Bhushan and Jordan are really good guys, doing an awesome job, and will take great care of you
Negatives
• Restaurant has good food, tasty with some slightly different dishes to other places (lots of avocado), and is well presented. However menu is fairly limited compared to other locations, and it is a little more pricey than comparable places
• Toilets in restaurant need attention
• Cash only, which with a temperamental ATM on Agonda can be tricky
Overall, a good stay, made more enjoyable by the great staff.

Be wary of such properties on Agonda
They have one beach facing and another not beach facing property. On raising concern in this, mr Vishu who is the property manager threatened me and asked me to wait at the properTy as he commuted to my location. He also slanged me. Since i was with my family, i had to immediately call the police for my and their safety.
Two weeks later i found a news article of a family attacked with swords on Agonda. These are mostly managed by marathi folks. Save your life and choose a different beach!

Absolutely love this place, year after year it doesn’t fail to please me. Great food, staff, location and entertainment…..the only downside is year after year, day after day…the toilets are disgusting. Management please sort out the 1 thing that lets you down. Hourly checks n cleans.

Amazing food with great service and a breath taking view
This is the second time in two years I have come to Silent Waves, and it's safe to say that this place does not disappoint.
Food - Prawn Rawa Fry, Crab Xacuti and their set breakfast are must haves. Make sure to check with Chef Ballu if he can prepare Crab Xec Xec, an off menu item that is absolutely amazing.
Service - This place is blessed with amazing staff from Lalit, who shakes up some amazing cocktails, Nilesh, who will give you the best tourist tips (make sure to ask him for the backwater boat rides) and Jordan, who will make sure your stay is extremely comfortable.
Rooms - The rooms are shack style, are very clean and and an amazing view of the beach. Perfect for youngsters!
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place in Agonda, especially for the food, drinks and the amazing view.

The worst experience ever
me and my husband were supposed to stay at this property . We were 2 couples who were travelling and we had two different bookings one from 19/05/22 to 22/05/2022 for me and the other couple had a booking from 20/05/22 to 23/05/22.
At the time of booking we had reiterated that the couple with booking from 19/05 to 22/05 will be cheking in at 1:30 am owing to a late flight. They had anyways agreed because we had agreed to pay for the full day. However when we reached at 2:00 am on the 20/05 they simply said they had not received any booking . The person who was communicating with us was absolutely rude. We were getting drenched in rain and our cab had to leave for his next pick up, stranded in the middle of the night with nowhere to go. He kept insisting they don't have any booking. After a big argument where he finally checked his system and said he has one booking and began yelling that why is this booking done by someone esle and not by the same person who is staying and because of this he has to deal with two names. He however denied absolutely that my friends also had a booking from 20/05 to 22/05. He said my friends had cancelled the booking without informing me. Even after he confirmed we had one booking he did not give us our alloted room and put us in an alternative property which was also owned by them. We had to pay separately for this room because frankly we were fed up. So there we were drenched to the core , no electricity back up in the room , a bed full of insects at 2:30 am. Next morning we get a call from the owner/manager miss Dipti who tells us she could see that we have 2 booking in the system and asked us when were we checking in. I absolutely lost it and walked out of the hotel and made fresg bookings. The most Horrible experience ever. No word of apology was given to us either by booking.com nor from the hotel. Book here at your own risk.
