Great experience!
I had another amazing experience staying at InterContinental Budapest. The location is unbeatable, right next to the river and the tram line, offering stunning views of Buda Castle.
I arrived at the hotel around 11:00 PM feeling exhausted, but Anna at the front desk was super kind, polite, and processed my check-in and payment quickly.
When I got to my room, I was quite hungry but didn't want a heavy meal late at night. To my pleasant surprise, there were small pogacas and a fresh nectarine waiting for me exactly the thoughtful touch I needed!
The amenities were top-notch as well. The indoor pool and sauna were fantastic for relaxing, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely incredible with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.
Every member of the staff was helpful, attentive, and made sure we were having a great time throughout our stay. Thank you to the team for everything! Highly recommended.

Shamelessly enjoyed a break here.
We stayed a full 3 days. Wanted to stay here for the renowned unobstructed view of the Buda Castle district day & night and Cub InterContinental.
Hotel looked after the limos from Franz Listz Bud airport.
In 3 days we spent a total of 6 hours doing siteseeing. Buda Castle District, Sunset Cruise and a wander around town around Elizabeth Square. The rest was a good slum around in the room, club, the spar & Corso terrace.
As it was 2 birthday break we got lots of gifts which were appreciated. Also a very nice meal in Corso and drinks on the promenade terrace.

Wow, absolutely incredible experience!
Wow, wow, wow! Thank you so much for an absolutely magnificent stay. The staff were incredible and always available to help with any request.
A special shout-out to the lovely Zsannet, who worked tirelessly to help and support all guests. She is an absolute credit to the hotel! So helpful, friendly and genuinely wonderful.
Our stay made our first visit to Budapest incredibly special, and we truly cannot wait to return! The location is also fabulous with easy access to most landmarks and there is a tram stop right outside for extra convenience.
I would highly recommend booking a Club Access room. The views over the Danube are stunning, and the service and food in the Club Lounge were absolutely incredible.

This is a greatly located hotel in need of some renovations since it looks dated. Staff is great, specially concierge Steven, who fixed our luggage that British Airways broke in our way to Budapest. Unparalleled views of the Danube from our room!

Great location
Spent a long weekend here in August during the extremely hot weather. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to all attractions plus tram/metro etc. With a river view room you have wonderful views of Buda Castle.
Service in general was good.
The rooms are perfectly clean but a little dated and probably need some refurbishment, they all have what you need though, usb c and a chargers next to the bed, good aircon, fridge, espresso machine. WiFi is good. They just really need a new bathroom and bedroom furniture.
It’s a big hotel and seems to be the main starting point for river cruises and for cabin crew stopovers from airlines. The consequence of this is that breakfast gets particularly busy and crowded, however, sitting outside on the terrace is very pleasant. The bar is good and again sitting outside watching people walk by is a nice pastime.
It’s the location that really makes this hotel.
