A happy stay before my Birthday

My friend booked a room for us at this hotel for the weekend straight before my 40-th Birthday. We"ve spent 2 nights here, and i was absolutely satisfied with everything! We had breakfast inclueded with a wide selection of fresh options. The hotel is beautiful, i especially loved the old fashioned furniture everywhere. Our room was really nice, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Alt the stuff of this hotel were kind and friendly. Special mention for the recepcionists on arrival and on the checkout as well (unfortunately did not ask their names). One of the young girl was extremely friendly, kind and alwasy spread a smile, we had a really nice chat. As i needed to head off to the train station next day early morning, the day before i asked her some sandwiches to be packed possibly by 7: 15 am,as i could not have time for a proper breakfast. An other kind, young male receptionist was on duty on my check out day, and as soon as he saw me downstairs at 7: 00 am, he brought me a little bag. To my surprise i even got a bottle of mineral water as well beside my three sandwiches!
I would definietly come back again and highly recommend it if you want to experience a very relaxing, nice atmosphere filled with kindness, helpfullness from the staff!

Lousy. The worst hotel I've ever been to.

The group was divided between the two Karin hotels, both several blocks away from each other and away from downtown Budapest, an area not recommended at night. My room with a large bed with no room to enter from any side, you had to enter from the feet. Temperature not adjustable so the heat was overwhelming. Breakfast, lousy: coffee, milk, chorizo, torreznos, salted cheese, scrambled eggs, apples and pears; there was nothing sweet.
The first night, one of the beds had a broken box spring, we communicated it immediately at reception; to our surprise, when we left the hotel they tell us that they keep 100 euros of the deposit for a lost key (that they force you to take because in the second hotel there is no reception to leave it); we remind him that there was also a person who had to sleep one night on the mattress on the floor and they tell us that they did not know anything and that it would have been broken by the boy, something uncertain because we all check the condition of the rooms when entering (we know that the hotels try to keep the deposit to a minimum)
A hotel disaster, with a lousy management.

Lousy, not recommended

Hotel outside Budapest in a very remote and lonely neighborhood. The hotel is divided into two buildings several streets away. One is like houses made rooms so taken advantage of that there is no space and very low garret ceilings. One has no reception or anyone there, just to serve breakfast and we lost some room keys that you have to take because there is no reception or where to leave them and we were charged €100, a pass. Not recommended!!! A scam!!!

Lousy. Horrifying. The worst thing in the whole country.

This hotel is the worst I've ever seen. A concentration camp is more comfortable. The rooms are real zulos where there is dirt and bad smell. On the bottom there is a window in front of the shower which does not have a blind, so it is perfect if you like nudism.
It's in a perfect location if you want to get mugged, sold drugs or raped. It's in a slum of bad death in which all the properties are almost ruined. It's one of the worst hotels I've been to in my long years of experience. Please, if you want to leave Budapest alive, don't come to this hotel, if you can call it that.

Recommended!

Very nice and clean structure. Large rooms and very comfortable beds. The room and the bathroom were cleaned every day, location not central but convenient to reach the center by public transport, there is a bus stop right in front of the pedestrian entrance of the Hotel. I highly recommend it
