Great location, good rooms and nice staff

My boyfriend and I had a lovely time at the hotel. The reception/bar area is open 24/7 which is amazing coming home from a long night in 35 degree celcius heat.
The rooms are nice with a small tv, a nice bed and a table + chair as well as a closet and a safe box. There is a mini fridge, but its not that cooling, so dont expect to wake up with cold drinks ;) what you can expect to be absolutely life saving is the room cooler that is amazing after a long hot day and to help a sleepful night.
The bathroom are nice, but the shower when fully closed is a bit cramped, but you can just let the sliding doors stay open.
The location is near perfect as it's far enoght away from all the noise from the city, but very close the metro station - can totally recommend buying a metro month pass on the Budapest go app (depending on the time you spend in Budapest, we were here for 7 days)
The staff is well spoken in English and very kind and helpful. Just FYI remember that you have to pay local Taxes (about 45 euro give or take) to "use the roads" :)
We really dont have any negative/constructive things to add to our stay.
A pro tip as a foreigner is to bring a chrome cast/other casting device if you like to relax with some tv before bed, as all the shows are dubbed to Hungarian :)

Extremely convenient location in Budapest

The best thing about this hotel is the location and free parking. I stayed at this hotel a few times everytime I needed to be in Budapest but not wanting to deal with city driving as the metro and bus station and also the 200E airport bus is right around the corner. The mall is there too in case you need to do any shopping. Rooms are cozy enough though they do differ a lot in terms of size and format based on the selection. The attic room is part of the guesthouse area and that was spacious with AC, but no elevator so it made it difficult to carry suitcases up. The compact twin room was narrow but long. It was fine as I stayed alone, but even two people might find it a little hard with luggage hanging around. The rooms are clean and with decent wifi and hot water. Overall, I would stay back here again if pricing is right on the dates I’m looking for.

The reason I decided to stay at this hotel was: 1. I always try to stay a little out of the city center to get the feel of the entire area; 2. Because I was going to arrive around 6pm at the airport, I thought I better stay at a place that had easy access. As for the airport transportation, 200E buses, which are regular buses ( as opposed to more expensive AirPort Express buses ) run frequently between the airport and Kőbánya-Kispest, one of the Budapest transportation hubs for trains, metro and buses, which is only 5 minute walk away from Chesscom. The ride is less than 25 minutes. Also they offer wonderful breakfast. I stayed 6 nights. Every single day I got a couple of different things on top of all the usual stuff. The room was clean and tidy. The staff, the front desk, cleaning or breakfast service, were all welcoming and do their jobs perfectly. I could tell this hotel, as a business, is run very well. If you need to buy some groceries, there is Lidl 10 minute walk away, and along the way you see houses and buildings that haven’t changed for many decades, which I really loved to see. A little bonus: the price is lower than those found in the city center! I cannot recommend Chesscom Hotel
highly enough.

The place was clean with daily housekeeping and breakfast was wonderful. The only negative, the AC was not working during our stay. Staff claimed maintenance came to fix but AC unit blowing warm air. We ended up just opening small window to let air in.
