Great location, hotel was adequate

I stayed for one night at Budapest Panorama Central in the Astoria area. The location is central, close to the metro and buses. The process of getting to the reception was a process but I found it. The room assigned to me was across the street and that was also a process in itself but once you get the hang of it- it becomes second nature. I suppose the process of entering and exiting of both buildings using a chip/key is for safety and I appreciate that. The room is large and more than enough for one person. It’s clean; it’s got a water kettle, coffee, and water. Overall, a good experience.

Great value, great location - if you can find it

I had a very good few days in the Panorama Central Hotel in Budapest and thought, all told, it was very good value for money.
The room was clean and compact with TV, fridge, kettle, A/C etc. The bathroom was modern with a good quality shower. And the location is very good - right in the middle of the city and close to all the major transport links, including the airport bus.
The only drawback is finding the room. It's just a block of rooms in a fairly labyrinthine old apartment building which has many uses - It's not really a hotel as such, just bedrooms. The reception is in a similar building across the street, and finding the reception was not easy. However, once you have practised all of your sleuth skills and finally found your room, it's worth it

Comfortable & Clean

Everything was fantastic — the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. The bathroom with the jacuzzi was amazing. The staff were kind and welcoming.

Good location, very good price/qulity ratio

Cosy small hotel at the center of Pest side of Danube. At short walking range are bridges over Danube to Buda side.

central and affordable

the location is excellent. the staff are helpful and attentive. it's a very good place for such a reasonable price. getting to the room was a bit complicated because we arrived at night. there were a lot of steps, and i felt like i was trying to solve a puzzle. but i guess that counts as a plus for security.
